Oprah Hosts White Guilt Session: ‘Whiteness Gives You an Advantage No Matter What’

Billionaire media mogul Oprah Winfrey declared in an episode of her eponymous series, The Oprah Conversation that “whiteness” and “white privilege” afford unspecified benefits to white people in the “caste system” of America. In an episode entitled “Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man: Part 1” — featuring former NFL linebacker Emmanuel Acho and drawing its name from Acho’s YouTube series of the same name — Oprah Winfrey invited several white people to discuss “racism,” “white privilege,” and “whiteness.” Oprah praised her white guests for accusing themselves of being “racist.” Oprah said: There are white people who are not as powerful as the system of white people — the caste system that’s been put in place — but they still, no matter where they are on the rung, or the ladder of success, they still have their whiteness. … [Whites have a] leg up. You still have your whiteness. That’s what the term “white privilege” is. It means that whiteness still gives you an advantage, no matter. “It is the fundamental issue,” declared Oprah of racial assumptions. The Wrinkle in Time star invited Seth, a self-described Jewish man from Manhattan, New York, to describe his “awakening” to his own “racist” self. “You’ve become ‘woke’ during this period, and realized in that awakening that you are racist, right?” asked Oprah. “I just want to know how that happened.” Seth replied, “I was born in the 70s. I was born and raised in Manhattan. I’ve always considered myself to be liberal. Now I’m not only a friend of people of color but also an advocate for [them], but this this movement over the last month has been powerful.” Seth indicted himself as a “racist” who is aspiring to become an “anti-racist.” “I realized that I couldn’t be not racist,” continued Seth. “I realized that I either was a racist or an anti-racist, and I wasn’t — I’m not — an anti-racist.” Lisa, a Minnesotan-turned-Californian, attributed “biases” to all white people, warning of “unconscious biases that white people — that we as white people — have.” Emmanuel Acho said whites living a “white” life become “part of the problem”: Here’s what I told my friends with their white children. I said, “Y’all live in a white cul-de-sac, in a white neighborhood, in a white city, in a white state. If you were not careful. your children will live their whole life white, and at [the ages of] 26, 27, they’ll end up being a part of the problem, because you just let them and allowed them to live a completely white, sheltered, and culture-less life. America is “run” by whites, claimed Acho. “As a black person, white people — the proverbial phrase of white people — they run America, CEOs, Fortune 500 companies, execs, ownership,” Acho stated. “They run America. Not an individual white person, but collective white people.” Emmanuel Acho declared, “I firmly believe that if the white person is your problem, only the white person can be your solution.”

I think I’m gonna vomit!  You really can’t make this stuff up, folks.  Oprah, who is the richest woman of ANY color in America (and probably the world), has the nerve to drag a few self-loathing, whiny, liberal white people into her show to grovel before her like that.  Oprah is a racist as they come, and yet makes her BILLIONS from mostly WHITE suburban women dumb enough to buy her books, mags, and watch her shows…and she plays them all like fools, while laughing her way to the bank.  Some enterprising journalist needs to have the courage to ask her on camera if she feels guilty for all of her “black privilege” as a black BILLIONAIRE who has made those BILLIONS off the backs of mostly WHITE women.  And, does she think she should give back to WHITE communities that buy all her crap?  And, also…was she a beneficiary of affirmative action laws when she was young?  And, if so, does she feel guilty for benefiting from that?  Hey..  What’s good for the goose, is good for the gander.  This racial hustling goes BOTH ways; NOT one way.  And, I’d like to see a self-serving, self-righteous, (yes black) brazenly racist, egomaniacal liberal like her get called out.  Of course the media is almost entirely liberal, and nobody has the courage to take on Oprah like that.  It’s too bad.  She’s nauseating..  For more on this story, and to see this video, click on the text above.  Awful…

Charles Hurt: The Unbearable Whiteness of Being … Joe Biden

White Privilege, thy name is Joe Biden! After six weeks of shamelessly exploiting the tragic death of George Floyd for his own personal, political fortune Mr. Biden has finally identified the source — the very headwaters — of White Privilege in America. He found it in the mirror. Everybody knows Mr. Biden has been part of the problem in Washington for 47 years. Yet in the greatest display of insufferable, patriarchal, mansplaining White Privilege, Mr. Biden now claims that he alone is the savior America needs right now. According to him, America today is a systemically racist, unfair hellhole where justice dies at the hands of murderous cops and evil, hate-filled citizens — citizens who just happen to support his political opponent. “We remain locked in the battle for the soul of this nation,” he intoned last week. In other words, a battle between racist supporters of President Trump versus the pure and virtuous woke warriors rioting in the streets, killing cops, firebombing buildings and ripping down statues, supposedly in the name of George Floyd. But, how did we get here, Mr. Biden? You have been in power longer than just about anybody else alive. You were in the United States Senate for more than 35 years. You fondly recall yukking it up with racist segregationists in your own party for decades. For 47 years, you have been at the highest echelons of power. You were chairman of two of the most powerful committees in Congress, one of which gave you unrivaled authority to shape the federal judiciary. In your final eight years of power, you were in the White House. There you served as the wise elder statesman over the executive branch of government — a post you want voters to return you to. Such White Privilege. At the very least, Mr. Biden, you are responsible for the racist hellhole that you claim is half of America. Why would anyone expect you to fix a mess you are responsible for, a mess you refuse to even take responsibility for? White Privilege. Most troubling of all, why should anyone expect you to fix a mess that you have either ignored or proved yourself incapable of fixing during the 47 years you have lorded over every branch of the federal government? Sheer, unadulterated White Privilege. Turns out that in the 47 years that Mr. Biden has presided in Washington, he was just clearing his throat. Just warming up. Is there any more grating and obnoxious display of patriarchal White Privilege than the constant clearing of one’s throat? It is what powerful, old white men do when they have nothing to say — they have no answers — but they sure don’t want anyone else to speak up. But that’s Joe. Oblivious as ever. For the better part of five decades, Mr. Biden has toiled away at the only job he could ever hold — a long-winded, glad-handing, pompous politician in Washington. For five decades, he ran the only thing he could ever possibly run: His mouth. One of his most famous star turns in the Swamp came in 1991 when he led the “high tech lynching” of Supreme Court nominee (now Justice) Clarence Thomas. You see, Justice Thomas did not think and talk the way Mr. Biden thought a black man should think and talk. Then along came Anita Hill, who leveled unfounded accusations of a sexual nature against Justice Thomas. Well, this being a sensitive area for Mr. Biden, he decided that Ms. Hill didn’t tell the kind of story he wanted to hear from a black woman. This put Mr. Biden in a bit of a high-profile pickle. So, he bungled the whole thing and made everybody mad. Justice Thomas got confirmed without the support of Mr. Biden, the Judiciary panel chairman, but only after suffering the most despicable, underserved and dishonest smears in judicial nomination history. Up to that point, anyway. Ever since then, Mr. Biden has been getting everything wrong. Especially in the area of his supposed greatest expertise: foreign policy. He voted for war in Iraq, before changing his mind (after American troops died, of course). Then he wanted to spend more U.S. troops splitting Iraq into three countries, before everybody laughed him out of the room. He was for the war in Afghanistan — before he was against it. Oh, and he was the lone dissenter in the Situation Room against killing Osama bin Laden. That’s right, Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. was quicker to send U.S. troops to die in Iraq and Afghanistan than he was to kill Osama bin Laden. Seriously. And this guy has been hailed as a reigning expert on foreign policy in Washington for a half-century? You cannot make this up. And now he wants to be Commander-in-Chief? Suffocating White Privilege. It is from this rotten core that inspires White Privilege Joe to actually say out loud that black people are not really black if they do not vote for him. Just ask Justice Clarence Thomas. Perhaps the most galling display of Joe Biden’s White Privilege is that so much of his White Privilege is rooted in his smug pride over winning the lottery when Barack Obama picked him to be vice president. Joe Biden is so dumb and so marinated in his own White Privilege that he actually thinks he earned it. After all, he had run for president repeatedly and never got better than 2% — until Mr. Obama snatched him from the dustbin of history (and from the old folks home). This is where Joe Biden’s olympian White Privilege gets even crazier. Joe Biden’s campaign is not just an attack on America in the wake of Mr. Trump. It is an attack on the America that Mr. Obama left behind. Even after eight years of Mr. Obama fixing things, America is still a systemically racist hellhole, according to Joe Biden. But Joe and Joe alone is going to fix it all. Everything Mr. Obama failed to fix or screwed up more, Joe Biden — after 47 years of stewing in his own White Privilege — is going to fix it all. Oh, the magical Whiteness of Joe Biden!

Hahaha!  That painfully sarcastic (and spot-on) assessment of crazy ol’ Joe came courtesy of veteran columnist Charles Hurt.  Charlie is absolutely right.  Joe has been in Washington D.C. for half a century, and is someone notorious for having been wrong about virtually everything during his tenure in the Senate (over 35 years) and as VP (8 years).  And now, with his clearly obvious mental decline, its only been getting worse.  To think that he might actually become President is terrifying!  Charlie can be reached at churt@washingtontimes.com or @charleshurt on Twitter.

Opinion/Analysis: ‘White Privilege’ Is a Racist Idea

Across the country, re-education sessions are routinely held in businesses, professional offices, medical schools, universities, and even kindergartens. Their purpose is to teach the un-woke about the evils of “white privilege,” and make white people who participate uncomfortable about their skin color. Whites are to own up to the fact that regardless of their intentions, beliefs, behaviors or status in life, they are elite participants in a racist system that oppresses “people of color,” and are so merely because they are white. But discrimination on the basis of skin color has been outlawed in this country for more than 60 years. One might reasonably ask, “WTF is white privilege”? Here’s my politically incorrect answer: White privilege is the gift of being the only racial/ethnic group on the planet which it is okay to single out for abuse. Indeed, such abuse is obligatory for all who regard themselves as “woke,” and who aspire to promote “social justice.” This is a category that includes the media, the popular culture, the educational system, and such shapers of public opinion as Don Lemon; Joy Ann Reid; Joy Behar; Brian Stelter; Rachel Maddow; the editorial boards and reporters of the New York Times and the Washington Post; and the Democratic Party. “White privilege” is the privilege of being regarded as untrustworthy, prejudiced, and blind to the injustices one’s skin color is said to inflict. “White privilege” is the privilege of being damned for alleged racist public safety measures like like “Stop and Frisk” policies, and also the often imaginary crimes of one’s alleged ancestors. Thus, it is fashionable in today’s political culture to seek reparations for slavery from Americans whose ancestors never owned slaves, were not even in the country at the time, and were oppressed themselves in ethnic and religious ghettos across the globe. Reparations for slavery are also sought from the descendants of Union soldiers who gave their lives to abolish slavery. White privilege is the privilege of being held responsible for slavery when white America accounted for a small proportion of the African slave trade globally, which was mainly run by “people of color,” while white America led the world in abolishing slavery, an institution that still exists in non-white Africa today. Our country is now facing a national political crisis over borders because of the poverty and oppression caused by the corrupt politics and leftist economies of Central and South America, which has prompted their citizens to break into our country illegally. Conditions in the resource-rich southern hemisphere are so bad that 20 million of its residents have already broken the law to violate our sovereignty, bankrupt our social services and educational systems, and fill our jails. And yet according to the left, to seek a wall to stem this flood is white racism. As a top Democratic strategist put it recently, “Building a wall says: ‘If you’re brown turn around.” Such twisted logic would also provide an excuse to open our borders to the world’s Islamic terrorists, who have killed hundreds of thousands of mainly “brown” victims since 9/11.

CNN legal analyst Areva Martin accuses David Webb of ‘white privilege’ before learning he’s black

It was a rough day for author and CNN legal analyst Areva Martin on Tuesday. Martin accused Sirius XM radio and Fox Nation host David Webb of “white privilege” during a segment on a radio program before he broke the news. “Areva, I hate to break it to you, but you should’ve been better prepped. I’m black,” Webb said. The embarrassing moment occurred during a discussion about experience being more important than race when determining whether or not someone is qualified for a particular job. “I’ve chosen to cross different parts of the media world, done the work so that I’m qualified to be in each one. I never considered my color the issue, I considered my qualifications the issue,” Webb said. “That’s a whole, another long conversation about white privilege, the things that you have the privilege of doing, that people of color don’t have the privilege of,” said Martin – who also hosts CBS’ “Face the Truth.” A dumbfounded Webb asked, “How do I have the privilege of white privilege?” Martin responded, “David, by virtue of being a white male you have white privilege.” The Fox Nation host then explained that he was actually black. “I stand corrected,” Martin said. Webb scolded Martin for running with an “assumption” and she then blamed her team for providing inaccurate information. “That’s actually insulting,” Webb said. “It is and I apologize,” Martin replied. “I was given wrong information.” Martin’s spokesperson declined a request for comment.

We’ll sorta, kinda..gice Areva the benefit of the doubt here for having “wrong info.”  And, she DID apologize.  Fair enough.  But, she should probably fire the staffer(s) who provided the “wrong info.”  That being said..  This illustrates the pitfalls of constantly playing the race card; something that CNN, MSNBC, and the rest of the dominantly liberal mainstream media do on a daily basis.  At some point it’s gonna backfire.  Such was the case here.  The ASSumption by the folks at CNN was that their conservative guest from Fox Nation MUST be a white male.  So, they prepped for the show based on that ASSumption because it fit their extreme liberal racial template.  DOH!!

Second-grader given ‘white privilege’ handout

A North Carolina parent is upset after her 8-year-old son was given a handout teaching him about “white privilege.” The sheet is labeled “Step 3: (Begin to) Understand the Concept of White Privilege” and lists statistics showing a disproportionate number of white people in government, media and the entertainment industry. Amber Pabon, a parent at Hunter Magnet Elementary, said her son came home last month with the paper in his folder. “I think the message itself is inappropriate because, yes, there is racism out here, and they need to learn about it, but let the parents do that,” Ms. Pabon told ABC affiliate WTVD. “Because like I said, if she’s teaching him the way she knows, it could be completely different from the way I know. And me being part of the black community, I know different from how the white community sees it.” A note at the top of the sheet said it’s an initiative of the school’s PTA to generate “awareness and empathy to create a safe and equitable Hunter Community.” Ms. Pabon claims the material was taught in her son’s second-grade class, but a district spokesperson said it’s not part of the school’s curriculum. PTA members said the handout is intended for parents, and new material is sent home, emailed or posted to Facebook every week. They said it’s part of a popular “11-Step Guide to Understanding Race, Racism, and White Privilege” created by the high school teacher Jon Greenberg.

This the kinda crap that is destroying our country..  Unreal..

Meritocracy is a ‘tool of whiteness,’ claims college math professor

A math education professor at Brooklyn College contends in a recent academic article that “meritocracy” in math classes is a “tool of whiteness.” Laurie Rubel implicates both meritocracy and “color-blindness” as ideological precepts that hold back racial minorities from succeeding in math classes in an article for the peer-reviewed Journal of Mathematics Education. Rubel, who taught high school math for nine years before becoming a professor, argues that while meritocracy is commonly linked to hard work and talent, it also “functions as a tool of whiteness” because it “ignores systemic barriers and institutional structures that prevent opportunity and success.” Color-blindness, too, can be an issue for math teachers, according to Rubel, who asserts that “Teachers who claim color-blindness—that is, they claim to not notice the race of their students—are, in effect, refusing to acknowledge the impact of enduring racial stratification on students and their families. “By claiming not to notice, the teacher is saying that she is dismissing one of the most salient features of the child’s identity and that she does not account for it in her curricular planning and instruction,” Rubel adds, citing education theorist Gloria Ladson-Billings. Even math teachers who acknowledge race, such as those who indicate that they “can’t relate” in certain ways to students who are of a different race, are called out in Rubel’s paper. If math teachers notice racial differences between themselves and their students, Rubel elaborates, “those differences are typically cast in terms of deficit constructions about students, their places, and their families.” To mediate this, Rubel recommends that math teachers incorporate more social justice issues into math lessons, but warns that even “teaching for social justice” can be a “tool of whiteness” if teachers are not sufficiently attuned to the experiences of minority students. This is because even social justice-minded professors may inadvertently hold the “belief that effort is always rewarded, [which corresponds] to various tools of whiteness, like the myths of meritocracy and colorblindness,” Rubel writes.

Wow..  Well, as least this nauseating professor actually admits that she thinks math teachers…MATH teachers… should teach so-called “social justice.”  That, of course has NO business in the math classroom, nor does math (or any of the hard sciences, for that matter) have ANYTHING to do with race.  That’s ridiculous bs.  2+2=4.  Pi is: 3.14159.   Fractions, square roots, algebra, geometry, chemistry, trig, biology, and so on are what they are.  There is nothing racial or social about any of it. And, if your kid has a teacher that thinks otherwise, and who tries to use their classroom to fill your kids head with that type of politically correct nonsense, then yank them out of that class and get another teacher, or another school immediately! Otherwise, your kid will grow up to be a useless idiot unable to get a job.  Here’s a Newsflash for Ms. Rubel, and others that share her belief system..  Employers (and most colleges) don’t care how you feel about how oppressed you may be.  They care that you can add, subtract, multiply, divide, read a clock that isn’t digital, be on time for work/class, etc.  Teaching them otherwise, just sets them up for failure.

Having ‘white nuclear family’ promotes white supremacy, says New York professor, report says

A City University of New York sociology professor reportedly said in a tweetstorm last week that “the white-nuclear family” promotes racism, prompting a backlash on social media. Jessie Daniels, described as an expert on “the Internet manifestations of racism” on her CUNY page, infuriated social media users after reportedly saying that white families promote racism by default. The professor began her argument saying she learned that “the white-nuclear family is one of the most powerful forces supporting white supremacy,” adding that that families “reproducing white children” are “part of the problem” as they facilitate white supremacy in the country, Campus Reform reported. She reportedly tweeted: “I mean, if you’re a white person who says they’re engaged in dismantling white supremacy but … you’re forming a white family (and) reproducing white children that ‘you want the best for’ – how is that helping [and] not part of the problem?” She reportedly ended her arguement suggesting that “white people” should confront their racism and stop perpetuating inequality by leaving their homes for their children. “Until white people are ready to confront their own family’s racism (and) participation in systemic white supremacy, it’s not getting dismantled,” she wrote. “Beyond just calling out interpersonal racism, white people who want to be engaged in the work need to ask themselves about housing wealth.” She added: “White people: do you own your home? When you die, where’s wealth in that house going? If it’s to your children, you’re reproducing (inequality).” The professor locked her account in response to the criticism.

I bet!  And no, this is NOT The Onion…  The irony here is that if you click on the text above, you’ll see that Ms. Daniels is, herself, white.  Talk about self-loathing!  To follow her psychobbable to its logical conclusion, she is advocating the genocide of white people.  This is political correctness gone crazy!  CUNY needs to fire this lunatic.  Unreal…

Students offered extra credit to determine their level of ‘white privilege’

Students in a sociology class at San Diego State University can earn extra credit if they take a quiz to determine their level of “white privilege.” Professor Dae Elliott offered the option to her sociology class students, a “White Privilege Checklist” that includes 20 questions that aim to illustrate that “racial privilege is one form of privilege.” Click here to see the test questions, and read the rest of this article.

Conference teaches K-12 educators how to combat ‘whiteness in schools’

A recent conference hosted by an Ivy League university focused on integration and inclusion in K-12 education and included workshops on how educators should face white privilege in their classrooms, challenge microaggressions and address “Eurocentric pedagogical approaches.” The “Reimagining Education Summer Institute” conference, organized by Columbia University’s Teachers College, was held in mid-July and concentrated on “opportunities and challenges of creating and sustaining racially, ethnically and socio-economically integrated schools,” according to its website. The event, in its second year, drew 300 participants that mostly consisted of K-12 teachers and principals, the institute’s director Amy Wells said in a phone interview with The College Fix. The four-day conference included plenary sessions, dozens of workshops and dialogue sessions. One presentation, called “Whiteness in schools,” provided “a history of Whiteness, and will invite participants into a discussion of how Whiteness and White culture shapes what happens in schools,” according to a description. One workshop discussed “3 ways to face white privilege in the classroom.” Presented by Teachers College postdoctoral fellow Jamila Lyiscott, a summary of the workshop states it included “activities and critical dialogue around White privilege to connect personal responsibility to pedagogical possibilities for the classroom.” And a workshop on “Teaching for Social Justice” sought to challenge colonialist and racist pedagogies. “We will challenge Eurocentric pedagogical approaches that not only under-prepare students for the realities of our increasingly multiethnic, multilingual, globalized society, but are also rooted in colonial and racist ideologies that stifle the voices, identities, and realities of students of color,” a description states. There was also a “Deconstructing Racial Microaggressions” workshop in which attendees pledged to address racial insults at their schools. Institute director Wells, a professor of sociology and education at the Teachers College, said the conference came about out of her belief that the “missing piece” regarding issues of integration in education is what goes on inside the classroom. “It’s always about getting kids into the building and I just think … we’re always missing the educators who actually do the work and who actually interact with the kids on daily basis and help them understand race in terms of how they’re relating to other students,” she said. Wells said she believes higher education has the knowledge to transform the educational system but it requires connecting “a lot of dots” that have been fragmented over the years to bring that knowledge together so people can use it. A number of the workshops at the event were geared toward racial issues and curriculum in K-12 education and participants were able to gain graduate course credits and continuing education credits by attending the event. Mariel Buque, a Ph.D. Candidate at Teachers College, led a workshop titled “Deconstructing Racial Microaggressions.” The seminar sought to “help participants identify ways in which educational systems perpetuate racial microaggressions, both within classroom practices and within the institutional climates.” The training focused on increasing educators’ ability to recognize racial microaggressions, understand their effects on students of color and helping the educators “gain accountability in taking remedial action to overcome racial biases that lead to microaggressions.” Participants in the workshop also took a pledge to address microaggressions at their respective schools, according to a tweet from Buque. Other workshops touched on topics such as using hip hop as a form of therapy in schools, instituting restorative justice for student discipline and examining segregation and desegregation.

You really can’t make this stuff up, folks..  If you have a child being exposed to this crap, then be afraid…and pull them out.  Kids don’t need to be learning about so-called “microaggressions.”  They need to be learning 2+2=4, how to read, how to spell, etc.  This is the kinda crap to produces generations of idiots who will be complete disasters in the workplace….or who won’t make it in college.  Unreal..

Western Washington University hosts training on how to ‘reduce the impact of white privilege’

Western Washington University is scheduled to host a workshop today that aims to “reduce the impact of white privilege on social and academic relations,” according to campus officials. Part of its Campus Equity and Inclusion Forums, the event at the public university is designed for faculty, staff and students, who will use presentations, interactive exercises and facilitated discussions to learn “how to reduce the expression and effects of white privilege,” the university’s website states. The seminar will be led by history professor Randall Jimerson, who is white. “I think the harmful effects of ‘white privilege’ are that it can reflect an insensitivity to the subtle effects of both racism and lack of awareness of the differences between how people of color and people called ‘white’ are treated in everyday life,” Jimerson told The College Fix via email. “Not being aware that other people face daily, often subtle, discrimination can make white people insensitive to these debilitating effects.” The seminar is open to everybody, but Jimerson acknowledged it’s especially helpful for white people. “Most people of color are aware of the existence of ‘white privilege,’ whether or not they have applied this term to the disparity between their experiences and those of white people,” he said via email. “Thus, I assume that the main focus will be on helping white participants to understand, explore, and accept (or reject) the concepts embedded in this phrase.” “I hope that the conversation will then move to ideas about how to reduce the impact of ‘white privilege’ in our daily interactions with other people, and in our consciousness of race and other socially-constructed concepts.” Indeed, he emphasized that white privilege is not based in “biology, but only as social constructs historically designed to privilege ‘white’ people over all others.” Asked how race relations have come in the United States since the 1960s, Jimerson demurred. “As a white male—even though I have a sister-in-law, a niece, and two nephews who would be described as persons of color—I do not think that I can provide a clear answer to this question,” he said. “The nature of race relations, and how this has changed in the past 50 years, is something that I can only sense indirectly.” “Although I think that the United States has made progress in some aspects of race relations—such as overt or legal segregation—recent evidence suggest we have a long way to go,” he added. “These forms of evidence range from the racist attacks on former President Barack Obama, to documented incidents of excessive police violence towards people of color, to the increase of white supremacist organizations, and the only slightly veiled racism of many members of the Trump administration. These developments are seriously troubling for anyone who values concepts of fairness, equality, and social justice.”

Unreal..  THIS type of politically correct, extreme liberal, psychobabble is what is killing the soul of our country…and it’s overrunning our (so-called) institutions of higher learning like a cancer. For this self-loathing, idiot professor to somehow suggest that he’s not sure what substantive progress we’ve made with race in this country is offensive to any clear-thinking American.
