Tomi Lahren: Why Dems don’t want to talk about the Texas church shooting

Sunday morning’s Texas church shooting is proof for why Americans need the Second Amendment, Fox Nation host Tomi Lahren said Tuesday. Appearing on “Fox & Friends” with hosts Dean Cain, Griff Jenkins and Rachel Campos-Duffy, Lahren said that the only way to “root out evil” is for “good people to stand up, step up, and do what they have been trained to do.” Two men were killed when a gunman opened fire Sunday at West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement, Texas. More than 240 parishioners were inside. Within seconds, he was shot to death by two congregants who fired back. “It’s not just for hunting. It’s not just for recreation. It’s for incidents just like this,” said Lahren. “Well, you have a lot of Democrats and a lot of anti-gun rights advocates being very quiet right now because they don’t want to talk about what happened in Texas,” she noted. “Because they know that it’s a win for the Second Amendment and they know that it’s exactly why gun rights advocates talk about the Second Amendment and how important it is.” Lahren said that Democrats don’t want to “fess up” and “own that” because “they know it doesn’t do anything to their anti-gun narrative that they’re going to be pushing all through this election cycle.” She added that states’ gun-free zones neuter law-abiding citizens like the Texas churchgoers, adding that bad guys don’t care about laws. “If they cared about your laws, they would respect the laws in the book and not carry a shotgun into a church to destroy innocent lives,” she told the “Friends” hosts.

Exactly!  And well said, Tomi.  What happened in that church in Texas completely undermines the Dem, anti-gun narrative.  Good guys with guns neutralized a bad guy within 6 seconds…SIX SECONDS, and countless other lives were saved.  Period.  Those two law abiding gun owners stopped a bad guy and demonstrated the value of owning a firearm for personal protection.  That was the lesson/take-away from that incident.  And, the anti-gun Nazis are doing everything they can to downplay this event, because they know it undermines their narrative as we get ready to go into an election year.  Kudos to those two church parishioners in Texas for standing up and doing the right thing without giving it a moments thought.

Tomi Lahren’s Final Thoughts: A Christmas Message for Melting Snowflakes

It’s time for a special Christmas edition of Final Thoughts. It may be winter, but it’s still melting season…snowflake melting season, that is. Uh oh, have I already offended you? In Britain for example, a new survey by insurance firm Aviva found that 72 percent of 16 to 24-year-olds there believe the term “snowflake” is unfairly applied to millennials. 74 percent of respondents took it a step farther, arguing that they believe the use of the label could have a negative effect on young people’s mental health. And that my friends, is special snowflake syndrome at its finest. So what is a snowflake? Well, allow me to explain. If you spend more time occupying the streets in “protest” than you occupy a shower, or a job, you’re a snowflake. If you’ve convinced yourself that despite any actual evidence, Russia somehow stole the election from Hillary, you are a snowflake. If your favorite arts and crafts projects consist of knitting pink hats in the shape of a reproductive organs or scribbling “Resist” on a cardboard sign, you are a snowflake. If choosing between two gender options seems unfair to you, you are a snowflake. If you demand a safe space from conservative speakers but think it’s perfectly acceptable to burn and smash up your own campus in protest, you are a snowflake – a violent snowflake – but a snowflake nonetheless. If you think that you, by virtue of being born, deserve a participation trophy, you are a snowflake. If you think someone else should pay for your college education, you are a snowflake. There is no such thing as “free.” It’s not free if your neighbor pays for it. If you think borders, walls, and immigration laws are mean, you are a snowflake. If recognizing the “Islam” in radical Islamic terrorism offends you, you are a snowflake. If you think an AR-15 is a military assault rifle, you are a snowflake. If you have never bought, shot, or touched a firearm but insist you are an expert on gun policy, you are a snowflake, and terribly misinformed. If the American flag and the National Anthem offend you, you are a snowflake and you should take your snowflake booty and relocate to another country since you clearly don’t appreciate this one. If a simple Christmas greeting sends you into a PC orbit, you are a snowflake. And last but not least, if you are more concerned with what our president tweets than the great things he’s doing for jobs, GDP, the stock market, border and national security, you are for dang sure a snowflake. It’s time to wake up and realize you are special to your parents, not anyone else. You need to get over the notion that the worst thing that can happen to you is hurt feelings. If you sit back and wait for someone to offend you, you’re not living a very full or productive life. Dry your tears, accept reality, and get to work. If you don’t like the way your life is going, change it. Life is tough, get a helmet. Those are my final thoughts. From LA, God Bless and Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, indeed!!  I, unfortunately, have a niece that is one of these “snowflakes” that Tomi is referring to.  If you know one, please forward this little ditty to them on this Christmas day.  Thanks Tomi!     🙂

Young Female CPAC Speaker Zings Hillary’s Mannish Pantsuits

Saturday at the 2015 Conservative Political Action Conference, 22-year-old South Dakota conservative Tomi Lahren zinged the old, rich, white “maleness,” of potential Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Vice President Joe Biden. Lahren said,”According to those on the outside, we are the party of old, rich, white males. But I have a little bit of a problem with that, because I don’t really fit into that narrow box. Let’s see, one: Old. Well, I’m 22 years old. And rich, which almost makes me laugh out loud. I grew up in South Dakota, so that’s smack dab in the middle class in middle America. And white? OK, you got me there. But unlike my friends on the left, I’m not going to stand up here and apologize for being white, because I am what I am, and I’m sorry, you can keep your white guilt.

HAHAHA!!!  Yes!!  Outstanding!!  Finally someone is saying what we’re ALL thinking!!   I’m thinking Ms. Lahren is an up and coming, rising star in the GOP.  I very much look forward to following her rise.   🙂
