CNN’s Jim Acosta has press pass suspended by White House, Sarah Sanders announces

CNN’s Chief White House Correspondent Jim Acosta’s press pass to access the White House was suspended “until further notice” Wednesday, hours after he engaged in a contentious back-and-forth with President Trump. “I’ve just been denied entrance to the WH,” Acosta tweeted Wednesday night. “Secret Service just informed me I cannot enter the WH grounds for my 8pm hit.” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders confirmed Acosta’s tweet in a statement, claiming the suspension of his press credentials stemmed from his “placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern.” She called the behavior “absolutely unacceptable.” The CNN reporter, during a news conference at the White House earlier Wednesday, got into a heated debate with Trump after he asked the president about the migrant caravan. Trump told Acosta to let him do his job. “Honestly, I think you should let me run the country and you run CNN,” the president said. The reporter tried to ask him another question before a female White House aide walked over to him. Trump then told him, “That’s enough!” Acosta continued to try to talk as the intern was seen trying to take the microphone from his hand. She grabbed the microphone but Acosta wouldn’t give it up and there was brief contact between the two. Sanders in a statement — which Acosta later labeled “a lie” — said that “President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration. We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern..” “Contrary to CNN’s assertions, there is no greater demonstration of the President’s support for a free press than the event he held today. Only they would attack the President for not being supportive of a free press in the midst of him taking 68 questions from 35 different reporters over the course of an hour and a half — including several from the reporter in question,” Sanders said. “The fact that CNN is proud of the way their employee behaved is not only disgusting, it is an example of their outrageous disregard for everyone, including young women, who work in this Administration,” she added.

If you’ve not seen the video in question, watch it. Jim Acosta is an obnoxious, self-serving, elitist, grandstanding tool.  When he questions the President, it’s really all about him.  And, the way he acted toward the young female intern who was just trying to do her job, shows how arrogant he is.  What a nauseating tool…  And, for CNN to stand up for that prick, tells you everything you need to know about CNN.  It is what it is; agenda-driven fake news.  And they wonder why their ratings are in the toilet…  And for all of these liberal reporters and news organizations to wring their hands about the 1st Amendment, and the rights of the media?  Really?  Gimme a break..  Just you’re in the media doesn’t mean you have a right to question the president.  He gets to choose who asks him questions, and who is allowed at White House press events.  That’s always the way its been.  And, President Trump is notorious for marathon question and answer sessions with the press.  So, their whining is more fake news and bs.  Kudos to Fox News’ Chris Wallace for calling what Jim did “shameful.”  Exactly..  For more, click on the text above.

Red Hen teaches Sarah Huckabee Sanders that Virginia is for PC bullies (not for lovers)

Virginia is for lovers of political correctness, as we learned this weekend when White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders was thrown out of The Red Hen in Lexington, Virginia, on Friday night. The restaurant’s owner sanctimoniously declared the establishment has to uphold “certain standards.” Evidently she means the standard of resisting President Trump, by refusing to serve steak or french fries, or a hen that’s red – or whatever it is that they serve – to an employee of the man they loathe because they’re “tolerant,” or something like that. This political correctness is quickly approaching dangerous and irrational levels the likes of which we’ve never witnessed before. In the age of social media anyone can seize an opportunity to publicly take a stand against President Trump, and know that it could easily become national news and give them their 15 minutes of fame in the process. The staff at The Red Hen knew if they asked Sanders to leave they’d get national news coverage. Shortly afterward employees were lighting up Twitter with tales of how their boss gave Sarah the boot, on moral grounds of course. This quest for media attention is becoming all too common, and as it does, we continue to see people cross the line in potentially dangerous ways. Just last week Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was harassed while eating dinner at a Mexican restaurant near the White House by the Democratic Socialists of America. They were upset over the administration’s immigration policy – a policy that was also the law on the books during the Obama years, but his Cabinet secretaries didn’t get chased out of restaurants following screams and chants and f-bombs. Perhaps we have celebrities like Robert De Niro, Samantha Bee, Michelle Wolf, and Peter Fonda to thank for leading the leftist mob down this road to what is approaching near anarchy. Make no mistake, this isn’t just about President Trump. Even if Vice President Mike Pence was president, this would still happen. The PC liberals in this country increasingly seem to believe that they can bully their way to public policy goals. Celebrities instigate the behavior, the far left mimics the behavior, and the media enables it all. The result is the public now thinks this is the new normal. It is not normal. It is dangerous. Peter Fonda sent out a series of tweets this week, calling for Barron Trump to be ripped from his mother and put in a cage with pedophiles, then he went after Sarah Sanders and Kirstjen Nielsen tweeting that Sanders’ kids should be taken from her and Nielsen should be put in a cage, stripped naked, and whipped publicly with it filmed for posterity. Paging #MeToo. Just curious, if Peter Fonda walked into The Red Hen would he be asked to leave because his tweets don’t meet the “certain standards” they have to uphold as a restaurant? Asking for a friend. By the owner’s flawed logic and approach to business management, anyone who isn’t a socialist shouldn’t serve Bernie Sanders because socialism has ruined many countries and cost countless lives. Yet, if I owned a restaurant I’d gladly serve Senator Sanders and a table full of his socialist friends because I’m running a business, as countless other businesses who don’t subscribe to socialism have done. That’s right, I’d serve a bunch of socialists because I’m a capitalist. Both The Red Hen’s owner and many others are pointing to the recent Supreme Court decision that ruled Masterpiece Cakeshop did not have to make an off-the-menu cake for a gay wedding to justify kicking Sanders out of the restaurant. However, there is no comparison. For that logic to work Sanders would’ve had to order food that wasn’t on the menu and then use the government to try and force them to make what she wanted. Once upon a time, it used to be if any high ranking official — from any administration, Democrat or Republican — came into your restaurant not only would you serve them, but you’d publicize it to promote your business. Gone are those days. Today, many are just looking to put politically correct points on the board, and prefer to seek out publicity for their business through divisive political statements. And our media – most of whom make no secret of the fact they are ultra-liberal – is giving them a platform to do so, not through the lens of journalism and facts, but rather by minimizing those who don’t think the way they do. Accustomed to always being the adult in the room, Sanders left The Red Hen without a scene, and later tweeted “Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so.” You won’t see Sanders kicking anyone out of the briefing room to uphold certain standards, though many would call her justified if she did. And you won’t find her on Twitter calling anyone four letter words, or calling for the public beating of another human. Those who claim to represent “certain standards”- including tolerance and inclusiveness – should stand up and take notice. This is what it looks like.

Exactly!!  And well said, Lauren.  Lauren DeBellis Appell is the author of that spot-on analysis of how political correctness and tribalism is really tearing us apart as a country.  Then you have tools like Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) encouraging mobs to openly harass anyone in the Trump Administration wherever they are; restaurants, gas stations, etc.  Unreal..

Sarah Sanders Slams Media and Liberals Enraged that Trump Called MS-13 Gang ‘Animals’

“If the media and liberals want to defend MS-13, they’re more than welcome to,” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders told reporters during Thursday’s briefing after media attempts to frame President Trump’s comments from the previous day as insulting to “some immigrants.” “I don’t think the term that the president used was strong enough,” she said. One reporter had asked Sanders about the president’s use of the word “animals” to describe members of the vicious MS-13 transnational gang but, instead, framed the question by saying Trump used the term to describe “some immigrants.” Sanders sharply corrected him by saying, “The president was very clearly referring to MS-13 gang members who enter the country illegally and whose deportations are hamstrung by our laws.” She described the gang as “one of the most vicious and deadly” and operates using rape, control, and killing. “If the media and liberals want to defend MS-13, they’re more than welcome to,” said Sanders. “Frankly I don’t think the term that the president used was strong enough.” She then described some of the “heinous acts” the gang has executed: “It took an animal to stab a man a hundred times and decapitate him and rip his heart out. It took an animal to beat a woman they were sex trafficking – with a bat 28 times, indenting part of her body. And it took an animal to kidnap, drug, and rape a 14-year old Houston girl. Frankly, I think that the term “animal” doesn’t go far enough. And I think that the president should continue to use his platform and everything he can do under the law to stop these types of horrible, horrible, disgusting people.” Trump used the term “animal” to describe MS-13 gang members during a Wednesday afternoon White House roundtable with stakeholders in the fight against California’s sanctuary state laws. Fresno Sheriff Margaret Mims described to Trump the struggle her region faces in notifying Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) of an illegal alien MS-13 gang member. Trump responded by calling those gang members “animals,” a term he has used in the past to describe the murderous criminal organization. A host of media personalities, Hollywood celebrities, and Democrats deceptively framed his comments as referring to “some immigrants,” a narrative continued in the Thursday briefing question. “There’s a spark of divinity in every person on earth and that we all have to recognize that,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said as she slammed Trump for calling MS-13 members “animals.” Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom said Trump is like a “slave owner” or “Nazi” for Trump’s description of the murderous gang members. The Associated Press issued a tweet correction on Thursday admitting it had incorrectly framed Trump’s comment: “AP has deleted a tweet from late Wednesday on Trump’s “animals” comment about immigrants because it wasn’t made clear that he was speaking after a comment about gang members”: This year, ICE arrested 475 gang members in a sting operation, 99 of whom claimed unaccompanied minor status and 65 of whom were shortly thereafter released into the United States by an immigration judge. The MS-13’s beheading of a victim that Sanders referred to on Thursday is likely the case of a ten-person gang ambush in Maryland. A 19-year-old had been arrested in connection with the crime as of late last year. The gang beating of a 15-year-old sex trafficking victim sounds to be the case out of Maryland that allegedly involved 21-year-old illegal alien Yervin Josue Romero-Rivera, according to local WJLA. The drugging, rape, and murder of a 14-year-old girl in Houston appear to be the case of two 18-year-old MS-13 gang members who appeared in court for charges in the crime and were seen smiling and waving to television cameras.
