Rush Limbaugh: Hannity is ‘three times as honest’ as ‘incestuous’ Washington media

Rush Limbaugh says outrage over Fox News star Sean Hannity’s ties to attorney Michael Cohen is an act of deception by the media’s real partisans. The man behind the “golden EIB microphone” told listeners on Tuesday that “incestuous” media professionals are focused on Mr. Hannity’s friendship with President Trump’s lawyer as a distraction for less informed viewers. The revelation about Mr. Cohen’s relationship to Mr. Hannity came days after an FBI raid on the lawyer’s offices in connection with its Russia investigation. The Fox News host issued a statement on Monday saying he “never retained [Mr. Cohen], received an invoice, or paid legal fees” during “brief discussions” on legal matters. “Every one of these Drive-By Media hypocrites that are going on and on and on about conflict of interest regarding Sean Hannity would be the first people to accept an up-close and personal relationship with Barack Obama any day of the week, Hillary Clinton any day of the week, and they wouldn’t have any problem covering it up,” Mr. Limbaugh said. “They would all brag about it. They all strive, they all wanted to impress Obama, they wanted to be in Obama’s inner circle.” “Sean Hannity has not withheld anything from anybody about anything that he’s doing here. Sean Hannity is more honest, three times as honest as anybody you can pluck from the Drive-By Media doing their jobs each and every day. Each and every day they are engaging in deceit to try to hide from you the close ties that they all have with each other,” the radio host continued. “Washington, D.C., is an incestuous revolving door. And Sean Hannity is not part of the Drive-By Media, Washington, D.C., establishment.” Mr. Limbaugh then played recent footage of journalists and pundits before stating their influential networks within the capital. As usual, El Rushbo is exactly right.  And, good on him for standing up for Sean.  Dittos Rush!    🙂

Rush Limbaugh: Schumer, Dems caved on shutdown because ‘Trump went on offense’

Radio host Rush Limbaugh says there is a simple reason why a short-lived government shutdown ended Monday: President Trump “went on offense.” The man behind “the golden EIB microphone” told listeners this week that Democrats were so caught off guard by “Schumer Shutdown” attacks that they did a political U-turn after three days. Mr. Limbaugh said the Republicans’ refusal to negotiate on Saturday, coupled with rhetorical broadsides against Sen. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, constituted a political masterstroke. “When was the last time the GOP won a shutdown showdown?” the conservative asked. “When was the first time the GOP ever won a shutdown showdown? Yet Trump has won a shutdown showdown.” Mr. Limbaugh said that Democrats “wanted this [shutdown] to go on through the State of the Union,” but were forced to retreat after Mr. Trump proactively took control of the narrative. “It sounds to me like that Schumer and the Democrats expected the Republicans to cave, and Trump did not cave. And the Democrats know they’re on thin ice on this and so Trump wins,” the radio host said. They just didn’t count on the fact that — and this is beyond me why they didn’t — but they didn’t count on the fact of Trump returning fire. Not just returning fire, Trump went on offense.” The deal struck by lawmakers on Monday, which includes a promise for a Senate debate on immigration reform, will keep the government running through Feb. 8. “I am pleased that Democrats in Congress have come to their senses and are now willing to fund our great military, border patrol, first responders, and insurance for vulnerable children,” Mr. Trump said in a statement. “As I have always said, once the Government is funded, my Administration will work toward solving the problem of very unfair illegal immigration. We will make a long-term deal on immigration if, and only if, it is good for our country.”

Us usual, “El Rushbo” nails it!    🙂

Limbaugh: Timing of Flynn Charges ‘May Not Be Coincidental’ — ‘Look at All the News It Has Swept Off the Front Pages’

Friday on his nationally syndicated radio show, conservative talker Rush Limbaugh questioned the timing of the announcement former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn had been charged by special counsel Robert Mueller for lying to the FBI. Limbaugh suggested the timing of the news was to draw the attention away from passage of the tax bill among other items in the news, including the Matt Lauer firing from NBC and the “not guilty” verdict in the Kate Steinle murder trial. “So there you have it – they’re all excited,” Limbaugh said. “Mueller did the deed on the right day. Mueller did the deed to sweep the tax cut deal off the table and to tick everybody off. This is, in Jonathan Martin’s opinion, the swamp banding together – the establishment coordinating its efforts to continue to destroy Trump and muddy the waters. The tax bill is going to pass. As far as [Mitch] McConnell and [Paul] Ryan are concerned, none of this today is a legal problem.” “It’s a bit of a political problem, but it doesn’t present any legal problems to them or their tax bill,” he continued. “The tax bill is going to pass. But I don’t have any doubt that the timing of this thing today may not be coincidental. Just look at all the news it has swept off the front pages and look what it put back on the front page: ‘Trump colluded with the Russians to steal the election from Hillary.’”

As usual, “El Rushbo” knocks it out of the park.  It was NO coincidence this was announced today.  And, Rush is right in that it just sweeps all the other news away, including last night’s shocking and inexplicable verdict in the Kate Steinle murder trial where her murderer was found “not guilty” by a San Fran jury.  Outrageous!  Anyway, despite the orgasms being had over at CNN and MSNBC, this (so far) is nothing.  After all, Flynn was fired by Trump for exactly these reasons; lying.   So, nothing new here at all.  He’s just throwing a hail marry to minimize any jail time..

Rush Limbaugh: Steve Bannon Is ‘Taking Over the Role of the Republican Party’

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said this week that Breitbart News Executive Chairman and former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon is “taking over the role of the Republican Party” as he looks to support conservative challengers to establishment lawmakers in 2018. “I think what Bannon is doing is slowly but surely taking over the role of the Republican Party, and people joining Bannon are [doing the same],” he said Wednesday. “The Republican Party is obviously not with [President] Trump on balance — you have some in the House who are — but the Republican Party on balance is not with Trump.” Bannon was one of the main populist/nationalist voices in the Trump White House, fighting to keep Trump true to the “America First” platform which catapulted him into the Oval Office. Since Bannon’s departure, Trump appears to have been tempted by the establishment siren song coming from the donor class, GOP congressional leaders, and the “West Wing Democrats” on a number of issues, including DACA and Afghanistan. But the establishment was dealt a serious blow last month when Judge Roy Moore beat the establishment-backed Sen. Luther Strange (R-AL) in the Alabama Senate primary, despite Strange outspending Moore by as much as 10-1. This has led to widespread speculation in the media that Bannon-backed conservative candidates could pose a serious threat to establishment candidates in 2018. Limbaugh argued that this development comes as the Republican elite has cozied up with donors and Democrats while ignoring the voices of the people who voted them into office: ” Some people make an argument that there really isn’t a Republican Party left. I mean, there are people who call themselves that and they go out and raise money and they raise a lot. But whereas the party used to be known for one, two, or three very serious things, they’re not anymore. When the Republican Party joins the Democratic Party on things like amnesty for illegal immigrants — that’s not the Republican Party. The Republican Party ceases to exist in the area of immigration, for example.” Limbaugh went on to argue that Bannon and his allies are trying to keep the identity of the Republican Party alive as the Republicans in Congress are joining Democrats on “issue after issue.” “The Republican party is the fundraising arm of the House and the Senate and their lobbyist buddies — that’s who Bannon is running against,” he said. “They’re running against the Republican establishment is what’s going on and, in the process, becoming the Republican Party.”

Limbaugh rips Jimmy Kimmel, ‘crying’ experts talking gun control: ‘None of this is logic-based’

Radio host Rush Limbaugh told his millions of listeners Tuesday to get ready for an “emotional onslaught” by late-night comedians and liberal activists aimed at eroding Second Amendment rights. Liberal lawmakers, celebrities like ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel, and their media peers were the focus of conversation this week on “The Rush Limbaugh Show” as the host discussed Sunday’s massacre in Las Vegas by gunman Stephen Paddock. Mr. Limbaugh said it was no coincidence that crying comedians are lecturing viewers on public policy issues. “We’re now into that area … where facts do not matter,” the conservative host said. “They never matter to the left. But the danger is that the whole thing has become an emotional issue. You can’t blame people for reacting to this emotionally, but reacting to it emotionally and dealing with it emotionally are two different things. The left wants to continue dealing with everything emotionally so that facts and reality can be ignored.” Mr. Limbaugh then focused on Mr. Kimmel, who went into a nearly 10-minute monologue Monday evening in which he said lawmakers seemingly “don’t care” about gun deaths. The “Jimmy Kimmel Live” host’s voice often wavered, as it did during previous addresses on health care reform. “None of this is fact-based, none of this is logic-based reasoning,” Mr. Limbaugh said. “In fact, no reasoning at all matters. It will not hold up against the emotional onslaught. Late-night comedians are now practically crying. You know, once Jimmy Kimmel got some fame and notoriety for his expertise in health care, all the other late-night comics are trying to get in on the act. And now last night all became experts on gun control and murder and crying. And it’s just part of the onslaught that we are facing now.”

“El Rushbo” is, of course, exactly right here.  Ya know..  Jimmy used to actually be funny.  Remember those days?  Now, he’s just a pathetic liberal tool who really isn’t that bright…and seems to be making a fool of himself each night.  It’s like he’s been given some talking points…but doesn’t have the experience or knowledge to sell them during his evening monologues.  So, again, he continues to make a fool of himself.  Loser..

Limbaugh: ‘It Isn’t Unreasonable at All for Donald Trump to Suspect That He’s Being Tapped’

Monday on his nationally syndicated radio show, conservative talker Rush Limbaugh addressed President Donald Trump’s tweets over the weekend accusing the Obama administration of wiretapping Trump Tower before the presidential election. Partial transcript as follows: “Let me ask you a question. Is it unreasonable, is it unreasonable that President Trump would suspect he’s being spied on? It’s not unreasonable, is it? Telephone calls that he’s made to presidents of other countries have been leaked, transcripts have been leaked… So a lot to try to explain here today, and it all makes sense when it is explained in not just necessarily a timeline format, but just when you provide and when you learn the information of things that are going on, all of this makes sense. It all seems reasonable. It all seems like it could be happening. We know, for example, that there has been an effort on the part of what I’ve been calling the deep state, this is embedded Obamaites that are in the bureaucracy that have been trying to sabotage and undermine the Trump administration ever since he was elected and through the transition into the inauguration and up to now. I mean, this is undeniable. These various leaks, many of them are criminal. How are people getting this information? How are people acquiring the information that they are disseminating? I have here, ladies and gentlemen, I went and looked and I’ve got a copy here of the actual New York Times front page on January 20th of this year. And the primary story, the lead story, “Trump Arrives, Set to Assume Power.” But right next to it is this headline: “Wiretapped Data Used in Inquiry of Trump Aides.” Well, the New York Times has a story back in January admitting that wiretapped data has been used in an inquiry of Trump aides. And this article goes on to say “intelligence reports based on some of the wiretapped communications had been provided to the White House.” So it isn’t unreasonable at all for Donald Trump to suspect that he’s being tapped, that his aides are being tapped, at Trump Tower. We know that there were two FISA warrants that were issued starting last summer and then another one in October, and I want to walk you through those as the program unfolds today. It’s kind of unsettling. I mean, you don’t want to think things like this happen, but you know that they do, and so you have to face it. And we are in a polarized circumstance in our country. We are really divided, and the gap is wide. The partisanship is profound and it’s worsening here, to the point that there isn’t any common ground and crossing the aisle and shaking hands and cooperating. This is a war that’s going to result in somebody winning and somebody losing, within a political context, of course. And what’s new about this one is we have a Republican president for the first time in my lifetime fighting back. Well, I can’t exclude Ronald Reagan from that. And I actually think a part of this — and I can’t substantiate this, ’cause it goes to motive — but I think part of what President Trump is doing by tweeting out on Saturday that he believes the Obama administration’s wiretapping him, I think he’s not just tweeting to the American public and tweeting to the news media. I think Trump confounds these people because he’s always a step or two ahead. Trump plays the long game. And I think in addition to whatever else these tweets are intended to accomplish, it’s also a direct line to the Democrat Party and Obama and members of the Obama administration that Trump is signaling, “You don’t face the usual feckless bunch of opponents who never fight you back. You’ve got me here, and if you’re gonna start lying about me, if you’re gonna keep lying about me, I’m not gonna sit here and take it.” Now, why might Trump think that he’s been bugged? Why might he believe that Trump Tower has been bugged? Well, folks, from the moment that Donald Trump won the election back in November, there have been leaks, illegal leaks that were no question hopefully damaging. There has been a sabotage effort to undermine Trump and his administration since the election. We’ve talked about it ever since it began. I’ve had various names for it, the deep state, Friday called it silent coup or whatever, but there isn’t any doubt in my mind that this is going on. The media is complicit in it, that there is an effort to undermine the Trump administration. We have these bought-and-paid-for protests that come up out of nowhere, and they appear instantly. So I think it’s totally reasonable to believe that something like this could be happening. It would be unreasonable to think that this is crazy, unreasonable to think that this is absurd, unreasonable to think that this is nothing more than a big batch of conspiracy theories stitched together for whatever purpose.

Agreed wholeheartedly!!  As usual, Rush nails it!  “Dittos” Rush!!    🙂

Limbaugh: The First Amendment Doesn’t Give the Press ‘Immunity from Criticism’

Monday on his nationally syndicated radio show, conservative talker Rush Limbaugh said the reaction of the media to President Donald Trump‘s tweet labeling them an “enemy of the American people” was because some journalists believe the First Amendment gives them “immunity from criticism.” Partial transcript as follows: “I want to thank F. Chuck Todd of NBC for opening my eyes to this. For the longest time I’ve been genuinely curious why it is that media people think that they cannot be criticized. And they really do. They really think they can go out and research people and they can dig up dirt from anybody they want, their pasts, and they can broadcast it all over. And if somebody’s life, somebody’s marriage, somebody’s relationship, somebody’s kid gets destroyed or ruined, fine and dandy. They can do all of that they want, but you turn it around and you start investigating your favorite journalist to find out how many illegitimate kids he or she might have had in college or how many DUIs they had, you know, or how many communist sympathizer meetings they went to, then all hell breaks loose and they start squealing like stuck pigs, “You can’t do that! We’re journalists!” I said, “Where does this come from?” It’s more than just hubris. I finally found out. You know what it is, Mr. Snerdley? These clowns actually believe that since they are recognized in the First Amendment that they have constitutional immunity. Criticizing them is attacking the First Amendment. They really believe this. Criticizing them is akin to attacking the Constitution, and that’s un-American, and that’s why you hear these journalists say. “It’s un-American to criticize. It’s un-American for Trump to be destabilizing. It’s un-American for Trump to be going out there and trying to do damage to the media. We’ve got First Amendment protection.” Well, so does the president, and the president happens to be mentioned in the Constitution before the media. The president’s mentioned in Article 2. The media doesn’t make it ’til the First Amendment. But yet the media thinks there’s nothing bad about running around and trying to attack political figures and destroying them. This is what it is, folks. They are so far gone, they really think that they are the last line of defense between freedom and democracy and tyranny. And attacking them and challenging their reputation is no more and no less than attacking the Constitution and trying to destroy America and democracy. That’s what they think. That explains why you can’t go after them.”

“El Rushbo” is exactly right!!  And, its the same kind of thinking that folks like Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) espouse.  And, it’s nauseating.  Trump has EVERY right to call the dominantly liberal mainstream media out when they’re factually challenged, or just making up fake news.  That doesn’t mean he is outlawing the media, or that he’s some dictator.  It just means he has HIS First Amendment rights as well, and intends to use them if he feels the need.  That’s all.  Anyway, to read the rest of this partial transcript from Rush’s radio show today, click on the text above.  Dittos Rush!!    🙂
