Philadelphia Dem elections judge admits taking bribes to inflate vote counts

A former Democratic elections judge has pleaded guilty for his role in accepting bribes to cast fraudulent ballots and certifying false voting results in primary elections in Philadelphia, prosecutors announced Thursday. Domenick J. Demuro, 73, admitted that while serving as an elected municipal Judge of Elections, he accepted bribes in exchange for adding ballots for certain candidates on the voting machines in his jurisdiction and for including the fraudulent ballots in official tallies during the 2014, 2015 and 2016 primary elections in Philadelphia. Demuro further admitted that a local political consultant paid him money to add votes for the consultant’s preferred candidates in different federal, state and local elections. Demuro said the votes he added in exchange for the political consultant’s bribes fraudulently increased the number of votes recorded and tallied for the consultant’s preferred candidates. “Demuro fraudulently stuffed the ballot box by literally standing in a voting booth and voting over and over, as fast as he could, while he thought the coast was clear. This is utterly reprehensible conduct. The charges announced today do not erase what he did, but they do ensure that he is held to account for those actions,” U.S. Attorney William M. McSwain of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said. McSwain did not reveal the names of the candidates Demuro fraudulently propped up or state if they won their districts. Demuro’s sentencing is scheduled for June 30. He faces up to 15 years in federal prison.

Wait.  I’m confused..  I thought Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and all of the other Dems promoting mail-in balloting, told us that voter fraud doesn’t exist.  Of course, it DOES exist, and we’ll continue to document stories like this which prove it does.

Police: Masked Suspects ‘Announced a Robbery,’ Were Greeted by Gunfire

Police say masked suspects who “announced a robbery” at Eagle’s Corner Chinese takeout were met with gunfire and subsequently fled the scene. The incident occurred in West Philadelphia around 9:30 pm Sunday night. According to 6 ABC, police said “two masked men walked into the restaurant and announced a robbery” while “two store owners” were present. “One of the owners pulled out a gun and shot one of the suspects in the back,” causing both suspects to flee. Police believe the suspect who escaped injury was able to drive the wounded suspect to a hospital. Police also said the suspects “tried to cut surveillance wires to a camera” before they entered the business but failed to cut the right one, so the attempted robbery was captured on video. Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said, “The in-store surveillance cameras and the one in the back yard were still functioning and did record the robbery.” Both suspects are in custody and “expected to be charged” over the incident.

Good!  I love stories like this!  Just another example that illustrates the importance of owning a firearm for your own personal protection.  After all, cops aren’t there to protect you.  If you dial 911, they’ll show up…to try and figure out who did what, and fill out paperwork.  By the time they get there, the crime has already been committed.  You are responsible for your own protection.  Remember that.

Ambushed Pizza Delivery Man Pulls Own Gun on Attackers

A pizza delivery man who was ambushed and shot subsequently dropped his pizzas, pulled his own handgun, and opened fire on the two robbery suspects. The incident occurred Monday about 7:05 p.m. in southwest Philadelphia. WPVI reports that the 36-year-old delivery man brought the pizzas to a home that turned out to be vacant. The delivery man knocked on the door of the home “and two armed men [allegedly] emerged from an adjacent home.” Police said those armed men “shot the deliveryman man once in the left arm and once in the left side.” At that point, the delivery man “dropped the pizzas and pulled out his own gun.” He fired at the suspects, who then fled. It is unknown whether either suspect was hit. The victim was able to make it back to his car and “drive himself to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.” He was transported to a second hospital and is in stable condition. Police said the deliveryman was licensed to carry a gun for self-defense.

Glad to hear this poor guy is recovering from his wounds.  Hopefully they find the animals who ambushed and attacked him, and they’re arrested.  Just another great example of the importance of conceal carrying.  He’s alive because he was carrying.  Period.  Outstanding!!  🙂

Report: Ineligible aliens voted in Philadelphia in recent years

Dozens of ineligible aliens who have been removed from the voter rolls in the city of Philadelphia, Pa., have cast ballots in recent elections, according to a new report from an election watchdog group. The Public Interest Legal Foundation, an Indiana-based nonprofit that litigates to protect election integrity, released a report on Tuesday detailing voter rolls in Philadelphia. The information was collected from public records requests made through the National Voter Registration Act. The group found that from 2013 to 2015, 86 registrations were cancelled in Philadelphia because the registrant was not a United States citizen. Of the cancelled registrants, 40 aliens from the city have voted in at least one election, the report stated. “The report only details aliens who requested to be removed from the rolls,” PILF said. “No procedure exists to systematically scan voter rolls to detect aliens and election officials do not use data from the federal SAVE (Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements) database to scan for illegal registrations by non-citizens.” The group also discovered thousands of felons remain on the voter rolls despite having to be removed once incarcerated.

How crazy is this?!?  And yet, there are still people out there who think that there really isn’t any voter fraud in America.  This is just one city…  Here in sunny Colorado, we reported on a similar situation some time ago.  To read the rest of this story, click on the text above.  Unreal..

Demonstrator catches fire during flag-burning at Democratic National Convention

While President Obama was speaking about an optimistic America Wednesday night at the Democratic National Convention, dozens of followers of Sen. Bernard Sanders were taken into custody by police outside the arena and one demonstrator accidentally set herself on fire during the burning of an American flag. A young woman suffered serious burns on her leg when her clothes caught fire as she stomped on a burning flag on the street outside the convention center. One witness said the woman, who was not identified, was trying to put out the flames; she dropped to the ground and rolled as others poured water on her. First responders took her to a hospital. Police said about 35 protesters outside the Wells Fargo Center were taken into custody when they refused police orders to stop blocking an exit to the convention site. Seven masked demonstrators also were arrested shortly before 11 p.m. for scaling a fence outside the center and breaching the secure zone. The Secret Service said they were charged with entering a restricted area and face court hearings Thursday, according to philly.com. More protests are planned in Philadelphia Thursday.

One word…karma.  It’s only fitting that some loser who would set our American flag on fire, catches fire herself.  Excellent!    🙂

Whites Ordered to Back of Crowd at Black DNC March

The organizer of a “Black DNC Resistance March” in Philadelphia Tuesday demanded white supporters and media move to back of the crowd. “White media get to the back!” a black woman demands. “Black media come to the front!” The organizer then handed out signs with the names of black shooting victims to those standing in the front of the crowd. According to NBC reporter Shaquille Brewster, the group reportedly plans to march to City Hall in protest of the failure of the Democratic Party to focus on issues facing the black community. Communists, Black Lives Matter supporters and groups opposed to “police terrorism” were also in attendance, several of whom temporarily blocking traffic. At one point during the rally alleged members of the media were even forced out after they were accused of being undercover FBI agents.

Wow..  You really can’t make this stuff up, folks.  And the hypocrisy of the dominantly liberal mainstream media here is breathtaking..  Just fathom if the racial makeup had been reversed..and whites were telling blacks to get “to the back of the crowd.”  That’d be on every news media outlet for DAYS…probably months, and we all know it.  There would be riots, and all the usual suspects and black race hustlers (i.e. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, the NAACP, and on and on) would be there raising holy hell.  But not this story..  It was buried because it doesn’t fit the liberal media’s racial template/narrative.  To see videos of this, click on the text above.  Then ask yourself..  Who are the real racists here?  Yeah…exactly.

Lesson in hate for high schooler who criticized Black Lives Matter

A Philadelphia high school journalist who took on Black Lives Matter in a column for the school paper, only to be driven into home-schooling, says his torment didn’t end when he withdrew. It was just before Christmas break when 17-year-old University of Pennsylvania-bound Michael Moroz wrote an opinion piece for the Central High school paper, the Centralizer. In it, he criticized the racially charged University of Missouri protests at the time and suggested that Michael Brown, the black teenager killed in 2014 by a white police officer in Ferguson, Mo., was “a delinquent” who was “at worst, justifiably killed, and at best, a thug.” When the column hit the paper’s Facebook page, threats poured in. Moroz said he was forced to stay home initially, and when he returned, threats and harassment prompted him to withdraw and finish his senior year on home study. “When everything started to happen, I was surprised,” Moroz told FoxNews.com. “Whenever we posted an op-ed, we never got a reaction like I did with this one. In retrospect, I was naive to think that this would have been the same. Now, it’s more disappointing than anything.” Moroz said the harassment has continued on social media since he has entered independent study and claims even his former teachers and staff at Central have taken part. In a screengrab provided to FoxNews.com, a student appears to have tweeted to one of the teachers at Central a veiled threat against Moroz. “Would you still penalize me if I decided to punch him in addition to using my words?” the tweet read. The teacher tweeted back “yes,” but added “LOL,” in a flippant dismissal of what Moroz perceived as a threat. Moroz also provided another screen shot of a tweet in which the head of the Social Studies department accused Moroz of baiting other students into a fight rather than making a sound argument. The original column ran alongside another piece supportive of the University of Missouri demonstrations, which were triggered by claims the school was slow to react to incidents that alienated African-American students there. The demonstrations drew national headlines and resulted in the resignation of the school president. Both op-eds were eventually taken down, but Moroz’s was the first. His opinion piece was pulled from the Facebook page by student editors once the backlash began, and the counterpoint article supporting the movement was left alone. “Neither the Centralizer nor its members necessarily agree with the content/message of the piece,” read a noted posted by the Centralizer staff at the time. “However, the situation has escalated such that the writer and editors on the staff have received direct threats.” Officials for the Philadelphia school district told FoxNews.com that they have accommodated Moroz as much as possible since the beginning of the year and that appropriate action was taken regarding threats against him. “The School District stands by the numerous supports and accommodations provided to Mr. Moroz by the Central High School principal and faculty,” Raven Hill, a spokesperson for the Philadelphia School District, told FoxNews.com in a written statement. “His claims were investigated and the students who threatened him were disciplined according to the code of conduct. The school accommodated his requests for a police escort and independent study.” Moroz said the sniping and threats he believes he has been subjected to on social media warrant action, too. “If I made threats on Twitter against someone who wrote a pro-Black Lives Matter column, I wouldn’t be getting any leniency,” Moroz said. “It’s been more than one person and the school isn’t doing anything about it.”

Kudos to this kid for sticking to his guns and not backing down.  As we’ve documented here at The Daily Buzz on numerous occassions, Black Lives Matter is nothing short of a domestic terrorist, anti-cop, black racist, socialist, entitlement-minded organization that bullies and terrorizes.  Outstanding!!     🙂

Philly high schooler gets lesson in hate after penning column on Missouri race friction

Philadelphia high school senior Michael Moroz knew he was courting controversy when he wrote about race in the school newspaper, but he never expected death threats from classmates and strangers. Just before Christmas break, the 17-year-old wrote an opinion piece for the Central High school paper, the Centralizer. In it, he criticized the racially charged University of Missouri protests and opined that Michael Brown, the black teenager killed in 2014 by a white police officer in Ferguson, Mo., was “a delinquent” who was “at worst, justifiably killed, and at best, [was] a thug.” The story hit the paper’s Facebook page while school was out, and that’s when the threats poured in. Moroz is now afraid to return to school and worried he could lose his place next fall at an Ivy League university. “I feel as if I am a pariah in the community,” Moroz told FoxNews.com. “People I see on a daily basis have threatened my life. I don’t know how I am going to deal with it.” The article ran alongside another piece supportive of the University of Missouri demonstrations, which were triggered by claims the school was slow to react to incidents that alienated African-American students there. The demonstrations drew national headlines and resulted in the resignation of the school president. Soon after Moroz’s writing appeared online, Internet trolls took to social media, urging “someone” to “deal with” and even “shoot” him. Dozens of other posts labeled him a racist and urged University of Pennsylvania to rescind the acceptance it recently offered Moroz. When classes resumed this week, a shaken Moroz stayed home. He claims at least five fellow students at Central threatened his life, and his family has hired an attorney and filed a complaint with the Philadelphia Police Department. “They are looking for the destruction of a 17-year-old boy simply because they didn’t agree with his opinion,” Jordan Rushie, Moroz’s attorney told FoxNews.com. “They are saying that what Michael wrote is something they don’t agree with and that it justifies their actions. This is something that is becoming more common in America, and that is frightening.” The opinion piece was pulled from the Facebook page by student editors once the backlash began, but the counterpoint article supporting the movement was left alone. “Neither the Centralizer nor its members necessarily agree with the content/message of the piece,” read a noted posted by the Centralizer staff. “However, the situation has escalated such that the writer and editors on the staff have received direct threats. “We do not want to suppress any one voice, but we must also be aware that our readers will not always agree with the methods of communication articles utilize to get their points across.” Officials for Central High and Philadelphia public schools declined to comment when contacted by FoxNews.com, but on Tuesday, Central Principal Timothy McKenna defended the decision to take down the article by saying no printed copies were collected or destroyed. “We truly take these threats seriously,” McKenna said, adding that three students had issued specific threats. But Moroz believes removal of the article give the appearance that the harassment he’s endured is justified. “It certainly doesn’t feel like the administration is supporting me,” Moroz said. “They took the onus from themselves and put it on me, saying that it was a police matter and that I had to call and inform them. This isn’t a way for a school district to act. This is something I didn’t expect. “Their actions fed into the backlash.” Rushie said Moroz is “between a rock and a hard place” — due to acceptance guidelines at University of Pennsylvania. If he changes schools or classes during the remainder of his senior year, it could cost him dearly. “If he leaves Central, he could lose his acceptance at Penn,” Rushie said. “That would be horrible. This has had a strong physical and emotional toll on him.”

Another example of free speech suppression..  Liberals are all for free speech…until you say something you don’t like, then they go after you personally.  The kids at this high school who threatened Michael should be expelled, and charged criminally.  Hopefully, Michael’s attorneys will go after them for civil damages.  And, he has every right to finish his education at Central High, and then matriculate into Penn without any problem.  Keep the faith, Michael…and hang in there.

Black thug shoots white Philly cop sitting in squad car, in the name of Islam

Authorities say a Philadelphia police officer is recovering after he was shot several times during an ambush late Thursday night in West Philadelphia. Philadelphia police commissioner Richard Ross says the officer, identified as 33-year-old Jesse Hartnett, was sitting in his patrol car around 11:30 p.m. at 60th and Spruce Streets when a gunman fired nearly a dozen shots through the driver’s side of the car. “Shots fired! I’m shot! I’m bleeding heavily!” Officer Hartnett was heard yelling on police radio. Police are calling it an “attempted assassination.” During a press conference, Commissioner Ross said the gun used in the attack was a stolen police firearm. “It was stolen back in October of 2013. It was reported, and that is one of the things you regret the most when an officer’s gun is stolen, when it is used against one of your own.” Commissioner Ross says the suspect has given a full confession, saying he did it in the name of Islam. “According to him, police bend laws that are contrary to the teachings of the Quran.” Sources say the suspect’s full confession of the alleged attack was written down and recorded on video. Police identify the suspect as 30-year-old Edward Archer, of Yeadon. “When you look at the video, this is one of the scariest things I’ve ever seen,” Commissioner Ross said. “This guy tried to execute the police officer. The police officer had no idea he was coming. It’s amazing he’s alive.” “We’re thankful to God he’s here today because it easily could’ve been a police funeral.” Hartnett was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he underwent surgery for a broken arm. Ross says the officer’s arm suffered significant damage and that he has a long road to recovery, but he is expected to be okay. His father, Robert Hartnett said, “It’s going to be a tough road, but he’s a tough guy. I told him I love him, and I’m proud of him and he is an excellent person.” Hartnett returned fire and struck Archer. He tried to escape on foot, authorities say, but was quickly caught by responding officers. He was transported to the University of Pennsylvania in where he was treated for a gunshot wound to his buttocks, police say. Sources say the wounded officer told investigators that Archer walked up to the car, appeared to be about to ask for directions when he pulled a 9 mm and opened up with shots.

Later, the idiot Democrat (go figure) mayor of Philly went on some ankle-grabbing babble-fest about how this isn’t what Islam is all about, and that Islam had nothing to do with this attack on this poor officer.  BS!!!  Of course it was!  Even the suspect openly said it was the primary reason he did what he did!  Of course, the fact that the suspect is a black male, and his target was a white cop, wasn’t a coincidence either.  Sorry mayor, you’re wrong!!  Anyway, if you want to read the rest of this article, or see the awful video of this piece of garbage shooting the cop, click on the text above.  It made me want to vomit.

Tebow runs for a score, Eagles beat Colts 36-10

Tim Tebow got a warm Philly welcome. Tebow threw for 69 yards and ran for a touchdown in his first game in two years, Kenjon Barner returned a punt 92 yards for a touchdown and ran for a score and the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Indianapolis Colts 36-10 Sunday. Tebow got a standing ovation when he entered midway through the third quarter and the crowd roared so loud when his name was introduced he had to quiet them down because he was taking the snap in a shotgun. “It’s very humbling, a blessing. I appreciated it,” Tebow said. Tebow completed his first four passes and fans chanted “Tebow! Tebow!” during his first series. He dove into the pylon on a 7-yard TD run late in the fourth quarter and finished with 15 yards rushing on four carries. He completed 6 of 12 passes and was sacked twice. “I liked how Timmy threw it,” Eagles coach Chip Kelly said. Tebow hadn’t played since the 2013 preseason with New England until the Eagles (1-0) signed him to compete with Matt Barkley for the No. 3 spot behind Sam Bradford and Mark Sanchez. Barkley was 12 of 20 for 192 yards and one interception. “Did some things decent and some things we have to work on,” Tebow said. “I have to be more consistent.”

Agreed.  And, that’s been his biggest problem.  He has flashes of brilliance, and then makes silly mistakes.  But, hey..  That’s true for a LOT of NFL players besides Tim.  The reason Tim hasn’t played the last two years has to do solely with his openness of his Christian faith because that’s not very politically correct.  And, the NFL oozes political correctness.  So, kudos to the Eagles for taking a chance on him.
