MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough ripped for falsely claiming ‘no doctors’ were at White House presser, urges networks to cut away

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough was slammed on social media for falsely claiming that “no doctors” were present at Monday’s White House press briefing on the coronavirus outbreak. Scarborough was among many media personalities on Twitter who quickly noticed that Dr. Anthony Fauci, a prominent figure in the White House’s coronavirus task force, was missing from the briefing. The liberal TV personality quickly concluded that the briefing wasn’t necessary. “There is no public benefit to this briefing. The networks should all cut away,” Scarborough tweeted. “Bland pronouncements, the repeating of catch phrases daily, bad medical advice. No science, no doctors, no Fauci. Just Trump’s Roy Cohn.” While he suggested the presence of Attorney General William Barr by referring to him as “Trump’s Roy Cohn,” the “Morning Joe” co-host apparently overlooked Dr. Deborah Birx, the White House response coordinator who also spoke at the presser. Others fact-checked the MSNBC host on social media. “Dr Birx is right next to him,” National Republican Senatorial Committee senior adviser Matt Whitlock told Scarborough. “Are you dumb or just a liar?” The Daily Wire reporter Ryan Saavedra reacted. “Dr. Deborah Birx spoke and the press conference is not over.” “Dr. Deborah Brix [sic] — the response coordinator for the White House Coronavirus Task Force — is standing directly behind him and has spoken multiple times. What even is this tweet?” Washington Examiner reporter Jerry Dunleavy asked. Scarborough never issued a correction, but latter slammed the presser, “There is nothing in this briefing that cannot be summed up in three minutes at the end of the press conference. Nothing.” Author Stephen King made a similar error earlier this month after claiming that Trump’s coronavirus team was “all male, all old, and all white.” However, in addition to Birx, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Administrator Seema Verma, Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams and Housing and Urban Development Secretary Dr. Ben Carson are also prominent members of Trump’s response team.

In response to The Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra..  I’d say, “both.”  “Morning Joe” Scarborough is both dumb AND a liar.  Further, he doesn’t have the professionalism or humility to say, “my apologies.  I was wrong.”  President Trump’s Wuhan virus task-force has SEVERAL doctors and professionals, other than Dr. Fauci.  So, if/when he isn’t present, there are several others on the task-force, including Dr. Deborah Brix, a retired full Army Colonel with decades of experience (and, oh, btw..a female).  I watched the 2 hr press briefing yesterday and Dr. Brix spoke SEVERAL times and answered numerous questions from several reporters.  As for the silly, and entirely irrelevant racial/ethnic pot-shot by author Stephen King (who, btw is also an old white guy)..  Both the Surgeon General, Dr. Jerome Adams, and HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson (a nationally renowned neurosurgeon) are both black men.  And then there is Seema Verma who is not white; probably of Indian heritage.  But, we’re not 100% certain.  Either way, she’s a female and not white..not that it matters in the least.  It’s just that these liberals have nothing.  So, they go back to their old playbook which tells them that all Republicans are old white men, and therefore Trump must only have old white men on his team.  Of course it’s not true.  But, the facts don’t matter to these idiots.  We feel it’s important to note that it is entirely what the racial or gender makeup of any of these task-forces, or adviser are.  We want the President to be surrounded by the BEST people regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religious affiliation..and so on.  If you had cancer or some other terminal disease, you’d want the BEST doctor you could get, right?  Of course.  Well, we should want our President to be surrounded by the BEST possible advisers giving him the BEST possible advice, regardless of those entirely irrelevant demographic considerations.  Again, the dominantly liberal mainstream media continues to make irrelevant, weak, pot shots at Trump because..well…he’s Trump.  And, honestly…they just don’t like the fact that he’s on tv and they can’t stop that.  He’s out there talking right to the American people unfiltered, and taking over an hour each day to answer questions from the media…and it’s driving Joe, and the liberal media nuts that they’re unable to censor or stop him from connecting with the American public.  Isn’t that great?     🙂

‘Morning Joe’ slams Nikki Haley with hypocritical rant about UN

“Morning Joe” namesake Joe Scarborough slammed United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley on Friday for “threatening” the General Assembly–but the MSNBC star wanted to withdraw from the U.N. altogether back when he was a Congressman. Haley threatened to pull funding over the U.N. vote condemning President Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel–and the MSNBC star didn’t appreciate it. Unfortunately for Scarborough, Breitbart’s Joel Pollak dug up a bill the former Republican Congressman introduced back in 1995 that would have ended U.S. membership in the U.N. Scarborough said that Haley was “no diplomat” and “an embarrassment to the United States” because she warned the U.S. will remember the lack of support the next time the General Assembly needs money. “The United States will remember this day in which it was singled out for attack in the General Assembly for the very act of exercising our right as a sovereign nation,” Haley said. “We will remember it when we are called upon to once again make the world’s largest contribution to the United Nations and we will remember it when so many countries come calling on us, as they so often do, to pay even more and to use our influence for their benefit.” Scarborough was furious, saying, “We’re going to need them on Iran. We’re going to need their help on North Korea. We may need their help again in Syria. We’re going to need their help in a thousand places. And yes, they’re going to need our help, too. And guess what? We’re not going to work together if Nikki Haley is going up there humiliating the United States of America by threatening our allies over a non-binding resolution. It’s just like Donald Trump’s tweets. Every response has to be a nuclear response. There is no subtlety of thought.” But the 22-year old proposal spearheaded by Scarborough makes him appear to be hypocritical when it comes to needing the U.N. His bill, the United Nations Withdraw Act of 1995, proposed leaving the group altogether. “Effective four years after the date of the enactment of this Act, the United States Mission to the United Nations shall be closed and all staff and any remaining functions of such office shall be carried out through the Secretary of State and the Department of State,” Scarborough’s proposal said. Scarborough’s bill failed and he resigned in 2001. He eventually landed on MSNBC and launched “Morning Joe” in 2007.

where he has morphed from being a former Republican Congressman into this nauseating, extreme-liberal, brazenly hypocritical tool for the Democratic party.  Joe has no interest in facts, or fair journalism.  He has this pathological fixation on Trump and those in the Trump Administration..  And, no matter what they do, he attacks them with a rabid vitriol like no other.  Ironically, when Trump announced his candidacy, Joe was somewhat supportive.  But, something happened..and he flipped..   And, it’s all personal to Joe and Mika.  If Trump found the cure for cancer, Joe and Mika would find something to attack him over.  Nikki Haley is a rock star and Joe’s hypocrisy has been exposed.  What a tool..

Kellyanne Conway Fires Back at Morning Joe’s Baseless Attack: ‘It Is a Privilege to Assist President Trump’

Counselor to President Donald Trump Kellyanne Conway is firing back hard at Morning Joe hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough for baselessly claiming she does not actually support President Trump. Conway said in a statement on Tuesday: ” The hosts of MSNBC’s Morning Joe have become virulent critics of the President and those close to him. Ignoring insults and insinuations is a valuable skill. But when sentiments are attributed to me that are not true, it is necessary to respond. My beliefs, commitments and loyalties are plain to see. The notion that I am serving for ‘the money’ or a ‘paycheck’ is absurd. As campaign manager, I made a fraction of what other consultants have made on unsuccessful presidential campaigns. Then I walked away from dozens of opportunities for millions of dollars, and instead walked into the White House. I would do it again. It is a privilege to assist President Trump in the White House, just as it was during the campaign. I know him, I respect him, I believe in him, and I am confident in his capacity to be a transformative and successful President.” Conway’s Tuesday statement comes after evidence-less attacks from Scarborough and Brzezinski on Monday morning’s program, in which they claimed that Conway—Trump’s successful general election campaign manager—is only in it for the money. They even claimed that Conway once said she needed “a shower” after standing up for Trump when the microphones were off during the campaign, something on which they provided no proof.

Just more “fake news” from MSNBC and Morning Joe..  It offends the intellect to think that there are actually registered voters who pay attention to that crap..  Unreal..  To read the rest of this article, click on the text above.
