Classified Documents Found Among Huma Abedin’s Emails on Weiner’s Laptop

The State Department released emails Friday that investigators found on Anthony Weiner’s laptop which were sent from his estranged wife—top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin—some of which contained classified information. At least five of the found emails were marked classified, the New York Post reports. One email from Abedin to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was preparation for a phone call with Prince Saud of Saudi Arabia. The call was intended to warn the Saudis of classified material Bradley Manning had given to Wikileaks and was about to become public. Most of the content of the emails was heavily redacted when released by the State Department: “I deeply regret the likely upcoming WikiLeaks disclosure,” read one of the talking points. “This appears to be the result of an illegal act in which a fully cleared intelligence officer stole information and gave it to a website. The person responsible will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law” the message continued. “This is the kind of information we fear may be released: details of private conversations with your government on Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan.” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton released a statement after the release of the emails. “This is a major victory. After years of hard work in federal court, Judicial Watch has forced the State Department to finally allow Americans to see these public documents,” Fitton said. “It will be in keeping with our past experience that Abedin’s emails on Weiner’s laptop will include classified and other sensitive materials.” “That these government docs were on Anthony Weiner’s laptop dramatically illustrates the need for the Justice Department to finally do a serious investigation of Hillary Clinton’s and Huma Abedin’s obvious violations of law.” Judicial Watch has filed numerous lawsuits for official emails found on Clinton’s private email server to be made public.

Major kudos to Judicial Watch for its efforts in getting this information and making it available to the American public.  We the people have a right to know just how corrupt Hillary and her minions are/were.  And, we believe that Congress and/or AG Jeff Sessions need to reopen the probe into the Hillary email scandal with this new information that has come to light this past year.  It’s way past time Hillary and Huma were held to account for their clear violations of handling of classified information, among other things.

FBI still hasn’t turned over Huma Abedin emails

The FBI still hasn’t turned over to the State Department any of the messages it reportedly obtained from the computer shared by top Clinton aide Huma Abedin and her now-estranged husband Anthony Weiner, the administration told a federal judge Tuesday. FBI officials have signaled they will eventually turn over any State Department documents they obtain, lawyers said — but there is no time frame for doing so. “We haven’t recovered anything from the FBI,” said Lisa A. Olson, the Justice Department lawyer handling the case. The urgency of the case has declined after the election, which saw Ms. Abedin’s boss, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, suffer a shocking defeat. A hearing that in the weeks ahead of the election drew massive interest from reporters instead saw less than a handful now. “What a shock that we have less interest today than in past hearings,” Judge James E. Boasberg said as he surveyed the empty courtroom. Just weeks before Election Day, FBI Director James B. Comey told Congress his agents had come across new documents that were related to their investigation into Mrs. Clinton, which he’d closed out in July without recommending charges. He never publicly confirmed the nature of the documents, but a number of media outlets said they were obtained from the computer shared by Ms. Abedin and Mr. Weiner. Mr. Weiner is facing his own investigation into whether he was exchanging sexually charged materials with minors. Ms. Olson, the Justice Department lawyer, stressed Tuesday that they don’t have any official confirmation of the documents’ contents, but appeared to signal that the documents are indeed emails from Ms. Abedin’s accounts. Ms. Olson said they’ve been told some of the documents are duplicates of what the State Department already has. For now the State Department is still going through thousands of Clinton emails the FBI recovered during its criminal probe into the former secretary. Those are being released monthly, after the State Department deletes duplicates. Mrs. Clinton had insisted her lawyers had thoroughly scrubbed her emails and turned all of them that were work-related back over to the government in late 2014 — nearly two years after she left office. But the FBI found thousands of messages it said were work-related but which she didn’t turn over. Among those have been a handful of messages that contained information the government has now marked classified — further challenging Mrs. Clinton’s initial assertion that she never handled classified information on her secret account.

Hillary lied, got caught, and the people rendered their verdict at the polls.  We’ll wait to see if Huma broke any laws.  This story is developing…

Clinton campaign’s Abedin’s history at State Department poses liability for Clinton White House bid

Huma Abedin — a close aide to Hillary Clinton at the State Department and now a top campaign official — is facing more questions about her activities at the agency, causing potential problems for Clinton’s presidential bid. A federal judge ordered the State Department to have Clinton, Abedin and Cheryl Mills, another Clinton aide when she was secretary of state, confirm they have turned over all government records and describe how they used Clinton’s private server to conduct official business. They had until Friday to turn over the information “under penalty of perjury.” Clinton is already facing questions about using the server and private email accounts while she was the country’s top diplomat from 2009 to 2013. The former secretary of state has turned over about 55,000 pages of private emails but deleted those she deemed personal, resulting in voters increasingly doubting her trustworthiness, according to recent polls. Some emails show the extent to which Clinton’s closest aides managed the details of her image. Abedin, for example, sent her an early-morning message in August 2009 advising Clinton to “wear a dark color today. Maybe the new dark green suit. Or blue.” Clinton later held a joint news conference with the Jordanian foreign minister. She wore the green suit, according to The Associated Press. Abedin has for months been facing scrutiny about being part of a controversial State Department program that allowed her to work part time at the agency and have a private sector job. She went from full-time deputy chief of staff for Clinton to a part-timer, then started working for Teneo, a consulting firm led by former President Clinton aide Douglas Band. The agency’s inspector general’s office this spring confirmed an investigation on the matter and on email exchanges between Abedin and Clinton. Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has since 2013 led the effort to learn more about Abedin’s time at the State Department. Last week, he sent a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry and others asking about an investigation into possible “criminal” conduct by Abedin over her pay and her possibly violating rules that govern vacation and sick time. The purported State Department inspector general report found Abedin was overpaid by nearly $10,000 because she violated such rules while at the agency. The 39-year-old Abedin, vice chairwoman of the Clinton campaign, is contesting the findings and has requested an administrative review of them, while her lawyer calls the report “fundamentally flawed.” The Clinton campaign did not respond to a request Saturday for comment. Abedin is married to former New York Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner, who resigned from Congress in 2011 over a sexting scandal.

And that’s all sorts of confusing.. Anthony Weiner is Jewish, and Huma (who is half Indian and half Pakastani) is a Muslim. Not that we care at all…but that’s kinda interesting/confusing. Whatever.. Anyway, Huma was born in Michigan. But her parents moved to Saudi Arabia when she was but 2 years old, where she stayed there til she was 18. At that age she moved back to the states to go to college. So, her formative years were in Saudi Arabia where even owning a Bible (regardless of testament) is a crime punishable by the death penalty. Sharia Law is practiced, and women aren’t even allowed to drive cars in Saudi Arabia. Why are we even bothering to mention this? Well, Huma is the one who has Hillary’s ear, and whom Hillary trusts completely. And, voters need to know who the candidates are surrounded, and influenced, by. There has obviously been a LOT of effort trying to project a certain image for Huma publicly. But, who is she really? What kind of advice does she give Hillary? What are Huma’s connections/associations? Are there any national security concerns or conflicts of interest? THESE are the sorts of things the media should be looking very carefully into. Hopefully some enterprising journalists will start looking a little more closely into Huma’s background, associations, dealings, and so on. Of course we’ll keep an eye on this story, and any developments…
