A new report claims that a significant number of rank-and-file FBI agents are chomping at the bit to expose Obama-era leaders, alleging corruption and even criminal violations of the law. These agents are signaling that the only way they can safely and legally blow the whistle is if Congress subpoenas them individually to provide information about their former bosses. “There are agents all over this country who love the bureau and are sickened by [James] Comey’s behavior and [Andrew] McCabe and [Eric] Holder and [Loretta] Lynch and the thugs like [John] Brennan–who despise the fact that the bureau was used as a tool of political intelligence by the Obama administration thugs,” Joe DiGenova, a former United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, told the Daily Caller. “They are just waiting for a chance to come forward and testify.” In a statement to the Daily Caller, an unnamed FBI agent claimed, “Every special agent I have spoken to in the Washington Field Office wants to see McCabe prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. They feel the same way about Comey.” “All Congress needs to do is subpoena involved personnel and they will tell you what they know. These are honest people. Leadership cannot stop anyone from responding to a subpoena. Those subpoenaed also get legal counsel provided by the government to represent them,” the agent added. Former FBI Assistant Director James Kallstrom made similar statements when asked last December about morale at the bureau. “Well, I think there’s a lot of patriots that have had it up to here with what’s going on, and they’re going to step forward and tell people what the shenanigans have been,” Kallstrom told Fox News’ Stuart Varney. “How they shut down the Clinton Foundation investigation, how other things were done that are so anti-what the FBI and the United States and this country is about.” Paul Sperry of RealClearInvestigations reported last Thursday that Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz has “found ‘reasonable grounds’ for believing there has been a violation of federal criminal law in the FBI/DOJ’s handling of the Clinton investigation/s,” adding that the top watchdog official has “referred his findings of potential criminal misconduct to Huber for possible criminal prosecution.”
The Obama Justice Department discriminated against military veterans, trying to force them to withdraw their applications for two job postings — then canceling the postings altogether and rewriting the jobs to prevent the veterans from qualifying, a government watchdog said Wednesday. Under federal law, veterans should have gotten preferential consideration for the two positions in the International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program. But Justice officials had their eye on non-veterans, and scheduled meetings off-site to try to force the veteran candidates to withdraw their applications, the U.S. Office of Special Counsel said. The veterans refused to withdraw and human resources told the ICITAP hiring officials that they had to hire the veterans. Intent on avoiding that, the ICITAP then canceled the initial job-postings and re-listed the jobs a year later, in 2016, with new qualifications that excluded the veterans, the OSC’s investigative report said. The OSC said it was illegal to try to force the veterans to pull out of the job search. “OSC found hiring violations for two positions at DOJ where officials sought to encourage preference eligible veterans to withdraw their applications,” the watchdog agency said. “DOJ wanted to hire a non-veteran candidate. When the veterans declined to withdraw, DOJ selected the non-veteran candidate, despite rules mandating that veterans receive priority in hiring over non-veterans in certain circumstances.” The ICITAP officials told investigators they didn’t try to pressure the veterans, but instead explained why they should withdraw. OSC investigators said even if that was what happened, it still violated the law.
This is the kind of story that makes me want to vomit.. But, it was Obama’s administration, and Obama made it no secret that he despised the U.S. military…which he was the Commander in Chief of for 8 years. So, we shouldn’t be surprised to hear stories like this. Obama was very open about saying how he thought that the U.S. military was what was wrong in the world. And, it was that view that lead him into foolishly, unilaterally, suddenly pulling all U.S. forces out of Iraq in 2010, against the advice of virtually every general officer both on active duty at the time, and retired. That action, of course, caused the power vacuum which lead to the creation of ISIS/ISIL. So, that awful U.S. military that Obama hated, kept things stable in an otherwise unstable part of the world. But, it was Obama’s extreme liberal agenda-driven action to just pull out all U.S. troops in 2010 (again, against the advice of, well, everyone) that lead to the creation of ISIS, which in turn has committed genocide of Christians in Iraq, Syria, Libya, and elsewhere across the middle east. And the media wonders why Christians overwhelmingly voted for Trump…
On Tax Day, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) pressed the Obama administration for an update on the criminal investigation into the alleged misconduct of IRS personnel in the handling of conservative organizations’ tax exempt status. “It’s unclear whether all of these cases are open or closed,” Grassley said Wednesday. “The investigative agencies should account for their work. The scandal damaged the public trust in the IRS. Building back any of that trust requires investigation and accountability for any misconduct.” In a letter to the Acting Deputy Attorney General Sally Quillian Yates and the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration J. Russell George, the Iowa lawmaker requested more information about the investigation — or lack thereof. “In May of 2013, Attorney General Holder announced that he had ordered the investigation. In January of 2014, the Wall Street Journal, citing unnamed law-enforcement officials, reported that the FBI did not at that time plan to file any criminal charges as a result of the investigation, but noted that the case was ongoing and would likely remain open for months,” Grassley wrote in the letter. Earlier this month, the Justice Department announced it would not seek criminal contempt charges for one of the most significant figures in the IRS’ targeting of conservative groups, ex-IRS official Lois Lerner, over her refusal to testify before Congress on the matter. The Department said it was still investigating the underlying matter of targeting. Grassley requested information about the status of the probe, including the names of the officials investigating, when they were assigned to the case, the number of hours spent investigating, investigators’ possible interaction with IRS employees prior to the investigation, and efforts to preserve evidence. “In order to evaluate the extent to which your organizations are actively investigating this issue,” Grassley wants answers by May 15.
Kudos to Sen. Grassley (R-IA) for putting the heat on Obama and AG Eric Holder. The IRS, and the Obama Administration in general, thinks its above the law.
A group of Republican senators say they are aware of allegations of workplace retaliation against Homeland Security personnel who — in conflict with the administration’s immigration policies — are “faithfully discharging the duties of the offices in which they serve.” The Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest revealed it is investigating the potential retaliation against DHS employees who have allegedly been punished for not complying with the administration’s enforcement priorities. “[W]e are aware of multiple allegations of targeting and retaliation against DHS personnel who refuse to comply with this Administration’s willful disregard of our immigration laws—such as allegations made in lawsuits filed in federal court by an award-winning ICE attorney and by a group of 10 ICE officers and agents,” the eight Republicans wrote in a Tuesday letter to DHS Sec. Jeh Johnson. The Republicans noted a recent comment from President Obama during a MSNBC/Telemundo town hall discussion in which his indicated that immigration officers would be punished for failing to adhere to his executive amnesty. “There may be individual [U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)] officials or Border Patrol who aren’t paying attention to our new directives,” they quoted Obama. “But they’re going to be answerable to the head of the Department of Homeland Security, because he’s been very clear about what our priorities should be… If somebody is working for ICE and there is a policy and they don’t follow the policy, there are going to be consequences to it.” According to the senators — specifically Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Subcommittee Chairman Jeff Sessions (R-AL) and Sens. David Vitter (R-LA), David Perdue (R-GA), John Cornyn (R-TX), Mike Lee (R-UT), Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Thom Tillis (R-NC) — the statement helps explain why moral is so low among DHS personnel. “Not only do the President’s statements ignore the plain language of several immigration statutes that command DHS personnel to take certain actions relating to illegal aliens, the comments seem to comport with a pattern and practice of threats toward DHS personnel who seek to fulfill their duties under the law,” they write. The senators call on Johnson to provide information related to the discipline of DHS employees over the past six years, including “the authority upon which your Department will rely to penalize Department personnel for their failure to comply with an unlawful and unconstitutional order.”
Excellent!! Glad to see a handful of Senators actually doing their jobs, and holding Sec. Jeh Johnson’s feet to the fire. If these allegations are, in fact, true…then he and his puppet-master, Obama, have a LOT to answer for. Obama cannot simply ignore duly-enacted federal law, just because he doesn’t like it. And, while that HAS been his MO the last 6 years, he simply does NOT have that authority. So, Congress (both chambers) need to push back like this when he does try to circumvent our Constitution to further his agenda.
This phrase became a rallying cry for Ferguson residents, who took to the streets to protest the fatal shooting of a black 18-year-old by a white police officer, Darren Wilson. Witness accounts spread after the shooting that Brown had his hands raised in surrender, mouthing the words “Don’t shoot” as his last words before being shot execution-style. The gesture of raised hands became a symbol of outrage over mistreatment of unarmed black youth by police. That narrative was called into question when a St. Louis County grand jury could not confirm those testimonies. And a recently released Department of Justice investigative report concluded the same. Yet the gesture continues to be used today. So we wanted to set the record straight on the DOJ’s findings, especially after The Washington Post’s opinion writer Jonathan Capehart wrote that it was “built on a lie.” From time to time, we retroactively check statements as new information becomes available. In this case, the Justice Department has concluded that Wilson acted out of self-defense, and was justified in killing Brown. Does “Hands up, don’t shoot” capture the facts of Brown’s shooting? What has it come to symbolize now? “Hands up, don’t shoot” links directly to Brown’s death, and it went viral.
And we now know definitively what many of us have really known all along..and we’ve been saying for months now here at The Daily Buzz.. The whole narrative was a lie. Even black liberal journalists like The Washington Post’s Jonathan Capehart have finally come around to admitting it…which we give him credit for. So, Ferguson burned, the Chief of Police of Ferguson was fired, former Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson lost his job (with NO severance package), and has been targeted by groups like the New Black Panther Party and so on. Darren Wilson was the true victim in that situation. He was physically assaulted, and did his job…and then lost his job because of a lie; a lie perpetrated by the dominantly liberal media, and racist, entitlement-minded, liberal, black politicians who wanted to advance their preconceived, prejudged (i.e. prejudice) narrative… that the white cop shot an unarmed nice black kid who was just trying to surrender. Heck, AG Eric Holder even tried to define the narrative and TRIED, believe me, to make something stick on Wilson.. But, in the end realized he couldn’t. So, instead, he went, and continues to go, after the entire Ferguson Police Department, and the city government of Ferguson. The truth was that a pot-smoking, robber, black thug attacked a police officer and tried to go for his weapon..an altercation ensued, and the thug was shot. THAT is what happened. It’s what the St. Louis County Grand Jury concluded, and it’s the same conclusion that AG Eric Holder’s racist Justice Dept came to (which HAD to be a painful admission.. DOH!). And now, EVERYONE knows it. So, the next time you see some idiot black Democrat politician, Al Sharpton, or heck…a bunch of “protestors” chanting “hands up, don’t shoot”…fire back with the truth and them to stop pushing a lie. Then, laugh at them for making fools of themselves.
A federal judge who has blocked President Barack Obama’s immigration executive action suggested on Thursday that he could order sanctions against the Justice Department if he rules it misled him about when exactly the administration began implementing one of the measures. During a sometimes testy court hearing, U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen went back and forth with the Justice Department over whether it had mislead him into believing that a key part of Obama’s program would not be implemented before he made a ruling on a request for a preliminary injunction. In fact, federal officials had given more than 108,000 people three-year reprieves from deportation before that date and granted them work permits under a program that protects young immigrants from deportation if they were brought to the U.S. illegally as children. Obama’s executive actions would spare from deportation as many as 5 million people who are in the U.S. illegally. Many Republicans oppose the actions, saying only Congress has the right to take such sweeping action. Twenty-six states led by Texas joined together to challenge them as unconstitutional. Hanen on Feb. 16 sided with the states, issuing a preliminary injunction blocking Obama’s actions. Hanen chided Justice Department attorney Kathleen Hartnett on Thursday for telling him at a January hearing before the injunction was issued that nothing would be happening with regard to one key part of Obama’s actions, an expansion of the 2012 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, known as DACA, until Feb. 18. “Like an idiot I believed that,” Hanen said.
I really like Judge Hanen. He isn’t taken any of AG Eric Holder, or Obama’s crap. Excellent!! 🙂
Federal immigration officers released another 30,000 immigrants with criminal records last year, following the 36,000 it released in 2013, the government announced Wednesday — though it promised to take steps to cut down on the problem. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the agency that handles detention and removal of illegal immigrants, said it will no longer allow overcrowding to be the main reason a dangerous illegal immigrant is released, and will require a top supervisor to approve the cases of any serious criminals that officers want to release. Overall, ICE released 30,558 criminal aliens in fiscal year 2014, which is down from the 36,007 criminals released a year before. The 2013 releases prompted an outcry, and the latest news that the releases continue is likely to renew the calls for ICE to get a handle on its actions. New ICE Director Sarah R. Saldana said the number “still concerns me.”
It “concerns” you, Sarah?!? That’s it? It should outrage, and terrify, every clear thinking American!! Obama, and AG Eric Holder, have been giving we-the-people the finger, and turning tens of thousands of already convicted “criminal aliens” onto our streets the last couple of years. It is total chaos!! Consider this today’s eye-popping reason why is it absolutely critical that we BUILD THE WALL NOW!!!!…and put U.S. Army National Guard troops physically ON the border with Mexico, and keep them there until that wall/fence is built (above, and below ground to prevent tunneling)…however long that takes. And, in the meantime.. Instead of turning these felons loose on to our streets, we should be deporting illegal aliens by the tens, if not hundreds, of thousands…paying particular attention to these already convicted “criminal aliens” and known gang members. It wouldn’t solve this problem. But, it’d be a step in the right direction. Obama and AG Holder have been undermining our nation’s immigration laws for over 6 years, and we’re all paying for it, big time.
