Don Lemon

Gutfeld on Trump’s drug use

After President Trump told the world he was taking a prescribed drug – hydroxychloroquine – to potentially protect him from COVID-19, the media flipped. Chris Cuomo said on CNN: “I don’t know that it will help with his health, but it certainly helps to cover up his weaknesses.” Don Lemon said on CNN: “This is really deadly serious. It is quite dangerous, really quite dangerous.” Joy Behar said on “The View”: “He says he’s been on this thing for two-and-a-half weeks or something. But when you read the side effects – psychosis, paranoia, hair loss – I think he’s been on it for three-and-a-half years. Apparently, all those dopes know better than the White House doctor, who prescribed the drug. They’re acting like Trump is ingesting peyote in a yurt But here’s the big story: Trump is taking a drug – and he shared the info with you. The media and politicians – they’d never do that. Ever. That’s why they were shocked. Trump shares. They hide. And how dare Trump ask his White House doctor about a tried and true medication that’s currently being used off-label by other docs? How dare he make an informed decision as a patient, after assessing the science, medical opinion and risk ratio? If you believe Trump’s wrong, show us your cost-benefit calculations or shut up. Of course, the media won’t. Because they’re smarter than you – and Trump is a symbol of you, a bumpkin who should stay home indefinitely. It’s only the morally superior media who get to work – and also know all that secret info about hot stocks, real estate and meds. They get the courtside tickets and the best tables. Then give you the lectures. The media always have the inside scoop – they’re mad Trump shared it with you. It’s funny: The media condemn using a prescribed drug during a pandemic. But they’re fine with way weirder stuff. You know: you’d think an industry where people inject poison into their faces would sit this one out. And they’d never let you, Joe Schmo, tell them they can’t smooth their wrinkles with a toxin. And they’d fight you to the death over their balding drugs, diet pills, Adderall and performance enhancers. They can have it all. Inject your forehead with goat pee if you must. America will save lives. While you save face.

Agreed!!  How ironic it is that the left, which is always telling us (with respect to the abortion issue), that it’s “our body, our decision,”  is having some issue with Trump taking this.  And, let’s not forget that it’s they who are the first ones (again, referring to the same abortion issue) who hold their hand up in defiance and tell us that it’s between “the patient and their doctor.”  Well…that’s EXACTLY what this was all about; a decision made between Trump and his White House doctor, who prescribed the    So, when did this suddenly become an issue with self-righteous, hypocritical tools like Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon over at CNN?  Because TRUMP took it.  And, whatever he does is must be wrong.  How on earth is an FDA APPROVED DRUG, that has been around for over 60 YEARS, and for which the VA prescribes over 42,000 dosages PER DAY alone, is somehow a political issue?  It’s not.  It’s just an issue to idiots like Chris, Don, Joy Behar and other liberal hacks who have Trump Derangement Syndrome.  That’s all this is.  Thanks to Greg Gutfeld.  That was adapted from his Gregologue” on “The Five” on May 19, 2020.  Excellent!!       🙂

Opinion/Analysis: CNN mocks tens of millions of Trump voters

Liberals don’t really hate Donald Trump; they hate his supporters. President Trump just presents a more convenient target — most of the time. This weekend, never-Trump carnival barker Rick Wilson went on the least-watched of the big three cable news networks, CNN, to take another swing at the President’s supporters. Wilson has gotten rich and — among a certain set — famous from this game, so he’s not afraid to push the boundaries. He’s called Trump voters neo-Nazis and worse, and he once told a Trump-supporting CNN guest he would “gut” him “like a fish.” This time, though he went even lower. Mocking the “credulous boomer rube demo that backs” President Trump, Wilson switched into a parody of a southern accent and started acting like a buffoon. Then fellow guest Wajahat Ali got in on the action, riffing with Wilson as the two portrayed dumb hicks who support the President because they hate “the elitists” with their “math and readin’” and “sippin’ lattes.” Make no mistake, that is exactly what Rick Wilson and Wajahat Ali think huge swaths of the country are like. CNN host Don Lemon literally buckled over in laughter as his guests continued their spiteful routine. When he was called out for engaging in that mean-spirited mockery, Lemon tried to claim that he “didn’t catch everything that was said.” Lemon, who has launched into heartfelt on-air tirades over things as trivial the Trump Campaign tweeting an Avengers meme, eventually asked his guests to stop — not because he found it offensive, but because he needed a pause to laugh some more. Lemon not only agrees with this assessment of the President’s millions of supporters but thinks it’s positively hilarious to denigrate and stereotype people he has obviously never bothered to interact with or understand. What upsets people like Wilson, Ali, and Lemon so much about President Trump is that he represents, in their minds, “credulous boomer rubes” having political power — political power they believe rightfully belongs to people like them. Wilson spent 30 years in Republican politics trying to make sure the “rubes” who make up the base of his putative party wielded as little political influence as possible. Wilson’s political philosophy derives essentially from the belief that his degree from George Washington University and his ties to politicians like former President George H.W. Bush elevate him from the “credulous rubes” of Middle America into the cadre of people who deserve a say in how their country is run. Ali, unlike Wilson, has always been a man of the left — but contempt for the rubes in flyover country is every bit as central to his understanding of American politics. His career has been devoted in large part to promoting the idea that American conservatives became beholden to an “Islamophobia network” in the years after 9/11. Don Lemon, meanwhile, has been caricaturing Trump supporters on CNN for years, smearing them as racists at every opportunity — even at a presidential debate. His arrogance is matched only by his ignorance. The America first movement is an existential threat to people like Don Lemon, exposing their essential mediocrity and the precariousness of their “elite” status. We saw that Tuesday night in Wildwood, New Jersey. The tens of thousands of Trump supporters who descended on the Jersey Shore weren’t the gap-toothed yokels of liberals’ imaginations, but hard-working men and women from every segment of society. They were union workers and bankers; single mothers and families; students and tradesmen; young and old; black, white, Asian, and Hispanic; Democrats, Republicans, and independents. For the establishment elitists of both parties, President Donald J. Trump represents their worst fear: the American people voting for their own interests.

No kidding…  Thanks to Mike Huckabee for that brutal, yet well-deserved, smack-down of Don Lemon and the chuckleheads at CNN. Mike Huckabee was the 44th governor of Arkansas and a 2016 Republican candidate for president. He is currently host of “Huckabee” on TBN.    Excellent!!    🙂

Opinion: Don Lemon’s disgusting on-air mock of Trump

Don Lemon of CNN is more opinion than fact. But still: Busting out in a two-minute fit of laughter as show panelists go on a mocking routine of President Donald Trump is beneath even CNN. At least, you’d think. Make way for the new standard of low at the cable outlet. But here’s the hypocrisy: A Lemon by a different employer — say, Fox — would be on suspension right about now. In a skit with panelists Rick Wilson and Wajahat Ali, CNN’s Lemon broke into uncontrollable laughter as discussions ensued about Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and his rebuke of NPR’s Mary Louise Kelly over a Ukraine line of questioning. Wilson referred to Pompeo’s call for Kelly to locate Ukraine on a map, and then added this bit: “[Pompeo] also knows deep in his heart that Donald Trump couldn’t find Ukraine on a map if you had the letter U and a picture of an actual physical crane next to it.” Cue Lemon’s laughter. Which wouldn’t have been all that notable — except Lemon went on and on and on. And on. “Donald Trump is the smart one and y’all elitists are dumb,” Wilson said, with a drawl, calling out Pompeo for playing to the “boomer rube.” From Ali: “You elitists with your geography and your maps and your spelling.” The clip continued; Lemon’s laughter continued; the mocking of Trump and Trump supporters continued. And that’s the eyebrow-raiser. Poke fun of Trump. Poke fun of Trump’s team. But why poke fun in such arrogance and condescension and smugness of Trump supporters? It’s disrespectful. Disgusting. Disdainful of American citizens. And one other thing: If conservative Fox News opinion hosts had cut a similar clip during the Barack Obama administration, the left wouldn’t have just screamed. Leftists would’ve launched a call for boycotts of the Fox show advertisers. Obama supporters, Obama voters would’ve demanded the Fox host be fired. But because Lemon is a liberal and hates Trump, his job is safe, his position secure. The double standard of liberalism marches on.

Agreed…and well said, Cheryl.  Cheryl Chumley is the author of that spot-on, op/ed.  The double standard is just typical.  And, c’mon..  Don Lemon is such a nauseating tool.

Opinion/Analysis: Gutfeld on CNN’s Hitler analogy

Another day on CNN, another comparison to Adolf Hitler. “I’m going to use an extreme example. Think about Hitler,” host Don Lemon said. “If you could look back on history, would you say: ‘Well, I’m so glad that person was allowed a platform so that they could spread their hate and propaganda and lies? Or would you say it probably wasn’t the right thing to do to spread that?” Here’s a tip, CNN. When an anchor says, “I’m about to use an extreme example,” cut to a commercial, because something idiotic is about to be said. And a warning doesn’t excuse the idiot. But if CNN cut to commercial before every stupid thing, all they’d have is commercials. Picture it: all commercials, no news. Is this “crap news” or is commentary? Even they don’t know. I do. It’s emotion masked as thoughtfulness. Hyperbole pretending to be thought. This after Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., called holding centers at the U.S.-Mexico border “concentration camps.” Hitler or Holocaust comparisons are a patch of quicksand in an argument that every sensible person avoids. Unless they’re blinded by obsessional fury, and work at CNN or Congress. What’s worse? The media frantically protecting their far-left idols, or lecturing the world on the finer distinctions between concentration camps and death camps? Because, you know, at concentration camps, you didn’t just die. You did other stuff too. You know, before you died. Right, Chris Cuomo? No, it’s not. We all know what concentration camps mean. Many know it too well. They’ve lost family to them. We don’t need coffee shop socialists or CNN lecturing us on semantics. It mocks the magnitude of the Holocaust. But this is all just a dog whistle — linking Hitler to Trump. Which is, as CNN says, “an extreme example.” Which leads to a question: Who knows more about anti-Semitism — CNN, or Israel? Safe bet: Israel. They just named a new town “Trump Heights.” Not “Stupid Heights.” That would’ve been a great name — if CNN lived there.

That was adapted from Greg Gutfeld’s monologue on “The Five” on June 19, 2019.  To see the video of it, click on the text above.  Greg absolutely nails it here with his dry wit.  Don Lemon and his ilk at CNN are complete morons.  And, don’t get me started about that brain-trust, AOC.  The thing is, they have no idea just how offensive what they say really is…especially to survivors, or the families of loved ones who died at concentration camps in WWII, etc.  But, let them go ahead and continue to use such “extreme examples,” I say…as CNN’s ratings continue to tank.  People are getting sick and tired of Don Lemon, and Chris Cuomo’s crap…and changing the channel.

CNN’s Don Lemon: ‘Biggest terror threat in this country is white men’

CNN anchor Don Lemon declared Tuesday night that the biggest terror threat the country faces today is “white men” and that something needs to be done about them. Mr. Lemon made the comments while speaking to fellow anchor Chris Cuomo about last week’s killing of two black men at a Kentucky supermarket in an apparent hate crime. It came just days before Saturday’s mass shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue and amid a rash of pipe bombs mailed to more that a dozen high-profile Democrats. All of the alleged perpetrators appear to be white men. Mr. Lemon said he doesn’t like to demonize people but can’t help but consider white men to be the biggest threat to Americans’ safety. “I keep trying to point out to people and not to demonize any one group or any one ethnicity. But we keep thinking that the biggest terror threat is something else, some people who are marching towards the border,” he said, dismissing the migrant caravan heading for the southern U.S. border as not a real threat to security. “We have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right,” he said. “And we have to start doing something about them. There is no travel ban on them. There is no ban on — they had the Muslim ban. There is no white guy ban. So, what do we do about that?” Mr. Lemon then apologized to Mr. Cuomo for getting political when the victims in the Kroger supermarket shooting — 69-year-old Maurice Stallard and 67-year-old Vickie Lee Jones — are “being lost” in the dialogue. “You’re making the right point,” Mr. Cuomo responded. “You’re covering the right story, and I appreciate you for that.”

Wow..  Just imagine if Megyn Kelly or ANY white personality on tv, or radio, or God-forbid, Trump had said that “the biggest terror threat the country faces today is black men”..  Can you even imagine what would happen?!?!  There would probably be riots!  Democrat (and probably some ankle-grabbing Republican) politicians, pretty much ALL of HollyWEIRD, and the entire liberal media establishment would be calling for that person to be fired, and then investigated for hate crimes, lol.  They would be ruined for life.  Heck, you can’t even say the word “nigger” on tv or radio anymore…unless your black, and a rap artist, of course.  No.  It’s “the N word.”  But.. Don Lemon is a gay, black, extremely liberal blowhard that is able to get away with what he’s saying because he’s a liberal black guy.  And the fact that he’s gay probably gives him a little extra protection among the liberal elite.  Again, just another example of the breathtaking hypocrisy of the dominantly liberal mainstream media and Democrat politicians.  Don Lemon should be fired from CNN immediately, and apologize for his brazenly racist comments.  Racism works BOTH ways, CNN.  Let’s see if you have the courage to put your own bias aside and do the right thing.  What a disgusting, racist tool..

CNN’s Lemon: Slavery Behind Spanking Culture

On Wednesday’s broadcast of “CNN Tonight,” co-host Don Lemon suggested the so-called spanking culture that exists in black community was a product of the days of slavery.

I heard this exchange played on the radio the other day while driving…and almost drove off the road. I could NOT believe what I was hearing. All I could think was.. Did Don Lemon REALLY, SERIOUSLY, just go there?! Lets deconstruct this nauseating, shameless, intellectually dishonest playing of the race card from black liberal CNN host Don Lemon.. #1) Slavery officially ended in this country 150 years ago with the conclusion of the Civil War. So, nobody is alive today who was a slave, was the son or daughter of a slave, or was the grandson or granddaughter of a slave. That throws out THAT silly notion. So, Don? Get over it. And thanks for reminding me why I don’t watch CNN. #2) I was whipped as a little kid, and I’m white. Last I checked, nobody in my ancestry was a slave. So, my ancestors didn’t wield a “whip” on their descendants because they were slaves, that I’m aware of. Many kids who are not black (i.e. white, Hispanic, Asian, etc.) are whipped, or have been whipped, by their parents trying to discipline their kids. Imagine that! Its not unusual at all. In fact, it was very common (and still is in many homes today). But, I guess, when Don made his initial comments saying that he had been whipped as a kid.. I’m guessing the liberal producers at CNN had a come to Jesus meeting with him, and made him atone for his sins of straying from the official, liberal, talking points path…and so he came out and said, that this spanking was something left over from the days of slavery in this country… And nobody called him on it. Unreal.. THIS is why our country is so screwed up. We have it all bass-ackwards. And we’re not willing to have an honest discussion about things like corporal punishment and race. Lets be clear.. If Adrian Peterson really did abuse his kid, that’s one thing. If so, he SHOULD be suspended from the NFL and be investigated for child abuse allegations. But, for simply getting a switch and whipping a kid who had misbehaved? Heck, that happened to me, and I’m fine. That’s a parental thing, and we should support the rights of parents to raise their kids however they see fit…even if they use methods we might not all agree with. Its none of our business…unless, again, there is true child abuse.

CNN’s Don Lemon Has No Idea What an Automatic Firearm Is

You have GOT to see this!  THIS is a great example of why I don’t watch CNN, or any of the other dominantly liberal mainstream media outlets on tv.  Whats the point?  They are all ideologically driven organs of the liberal wing of the Democrat party, and they all say the same thing, and have the same liberal agenda talking points.  Its not just nauseatingly stupid.  Its boring.  Thats why their ratings are in the toilet.  And, when it comes to things like firearms, they are SO ideologically driven, that they make factually inaccurate statements.  This brain trust, Don Lemon, has NO clue what hes talking about…and tries to move past the basic point of what the difference is between a fully auto and semi-auto firearm.  IF you’re gonna have a discussion/debate about firearms, that’s a pretty basic one.  Good on that guy in the middle screen for calling Don on his idiocy.
