Opinion/Analysis: Chinese propaganda is now citing US journalists’ and Democrats’ coronavirus rhetoric

If the Chinese Communist Party cites you favorably in one of its propaganda videos, it might be time to take a step back. Democrats and members of the U.S. news media should be reconsidering their remarks defending and praising China amid the COVID-19 pandemic, especially now that those remarks are being highlighted by China’s aggressive and sophisticated propaganda machine. The Global Times, a state-run Chinese tabloid, released a video recently highlighting various U.S. media personalities and Democratic leaders, who have pushed the Beijing-approved talking point that it is racist to refer to the virus by its country or city of origin. The video features CNN’s Chris Cuomo and NBC News’s Richard Engel. The Chinese-produced propaganda also cites failed two-time presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. Engel said earlier this month in one of the dumber soliloquies ever to grace television screens, “It is easy to scapegoat people, and that is what has always happened when there have been pandemics or epidemics. This is a virus that came from the territory of China but came from bats. This is a bat virus, not a China virus.” The Chinese propaganda video also features Clinton’s tweet wherein she wrote, “The president is turning to racist rhetoric to distract from his failures to take the coronavirus seriously early on, make tests widely available, and adequately prepare the country for a period of crisis.” She adds, “Don’t fall for it. Don’t let your friends and family fall for it.” De Blasio is cited in the video saying on social media, in remarks directed at President Trump, “If you’re looking for someone to pin this crisis on, try the guy who made up a phony Google website or promised testing kits that he STILL hasn’t delivered. Our Asian-American communities — people YOU serve — are already suffering. They don’t need you fueling more bigotry.” A separate video produced by the Global Times highlights CNN’s Chris Cillizza’s claim that the U.S. president is “weaponizing bigotry” to distract from the federal government’s sluggish and unfocused response to the pandemic in America. The video then questions whether the virus even really originated in Wuhan (it did), again citing Cillizza’s commentary to argue that Trump is using China as a “scapegoat for his government’s slow response.” “Reelection concerns are driving the Trump administration’s intense attack on China as a ploy to divert public anger over the federal government’s poor controls,” the propaganda video states. “They’ve indeed been quite incompetent. Perhaps they can’t face their public without blaming China.” As a reminder: The push to get people to stop referring to COVID-19 as the “Chinese virus” or the “Wuhan virus” is part of a broader propaganda campaign by the Chinese Communist Party to absolve itself of responsibility for the spread of the pandemic that spread solely because of its lies and its cover-up. To those American journalists and politicians who took their talking points straight from Beijing — I hope you’re proud of yourselves.

Thanks to Becket Adams for that spot-on op/ed.  Becket is breaking down exactly what we’ve been saying ever since this Wuhan virus (and yes, that’s exactly what it is, and where it came from) pandemic started.  Ebola, and hey.. Rocky Mountain Fever, for crying out loud, all describe WHERE those diseases came from.  This latest one came from Wuhan, China.  Period.  That’s NOT racist to say that.  It’s a matter of factual accuracy.  And, the fact that the Chinese government covered it up for MONTHS before finally admitting it, are responsible for allowing it to get out of control.  They are ALSO responsible for allowing these so-called “wet-shops” to reopen, where it all started.  So, if you’d rather call it the Chinese virus, then that should be perfectly appropriate since that country is where it came from, and whose government is responsible for allowing it to spread.

Trump was exactly right to quickly stop all travel to/from China, despite Hillary, Biden, and all of these anti-Trump tools in the dominantly liberal mainstream media (like Jim Acosta at CNN) calling him “racist” and “xenophobic”…playing right into the hands of the Chinese propaganda machine.  What a bunch of morons.  If you actually are still watching garbage like CNN or MSNBC, hopefully this will convince you it’s time to change the channel.

Analysis: The U.S. Media Who Unquestioningly Embraced China’s ‘Zero Coronavirus Cases’ Claim

U.S. media outlets uncritically relayed China’s claim of zero new coronavirus infections in Hubei province and the city of Wuhan on Thursday, mixing in outrageous helpings of fawning praise for the Communist dictatorship that unleashed the virus upon the world. The American media narrative appears to be that zero infections in Hubei mean everything that happened in December and January is forgotten, and China is now the world leader in pandemic defense. CNN hailed a “major turning point in the global battle to contain COVID-19,” the disease every mainstream media outlet suddenly and simultaneously decided can no longer be referred to as the “Wuhan virus”: ” The milestone represents a turnaround for the Chinese government. Just last month, mainland China was reporting thousands of cases per day, and was considered the most high-risk infection area in the world. Now, after months of lockdowns and travel restrictions affecting hundreds of millions of citizens, strict home quarantines, and an unprecedented nationwide effort, the country is down to zero reported new locally transmitted cases. Instead, the threat is now coming from overseas. The number of cases and deaths outside China have exploded in the past two weeks, with the pandemic hitting the US and Europe particularly hard.” Another CNN piece literally absolved the Chinese Communist Party of all misdeeds and called its latest pronouncements a “ray of hope” while complaining about the “fumbled initial government response” in the United States: ” There’s a ray of hope emanating from the first epicenter of the outbreak. For the first time since the pandemic began, China announced no new locally transmitted infections today, marking a turning point in the global battle to contain Covid-19. The milestone will likely be held up as proof that China’s sweeping, top-down efforts to control the virus are working, despite persistent allegations that local officials mishandled the initial outbreak. But the draconian restrictions have exacted a deep toll on the millions of Chinese forced into lockdown, not to mention China’s economy, Ben Westcott and Shanshan Wang write. Still, it’s a pivotal moment as global infections top 200,000, with every continent except for Antarctica now grappling with mounting crises of their own. In the US, where a fumbled initial government response put America on the back foot, officials are now preparing for a very long fight.” The New York Times headline declared: “World Feared China Over Coronavirus. Now the Tables Are Turned.” The Times portrayed China as the victim of unreasonable “fear and suspicion” which has been banished by an unimaginable “reversal of fortune” brought about by Beijing’s “uncompromising response” to the epidemic. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump was castigated for “trying to push blame back on China, worsening existing tensions between the two superpowers.” “Despite warnings that he is encouraging xenophobia, Mr. Trump has repeatedly used the term ‘China virus’ in what critics see as an effort to distance himself from the problem,” the Times wrote. The article added a dollop of criticism of Beijing for “falsely suggesting that the virus started with American troops,” but claimed the Chinese only did this in “retaliation” for Trump’s comments, which gets the timeline backward. China began floating conspiracy theories about the Wuhan virus having foreing origins in February and shifted to explicitly blaming the U.S. Army for creating and spreading the virus last week. Trump’s first use of the term “Chinese Virus” was in a Twitter post on Monday.

Thanks to John Hayward for that rather depressing analysis of the dominantly liberal mainstream media, and how they’ve been covering the Wuhan virus story.  We all have come to expect that when you watch CNN, MSNBC, PBS/NPR, NBC and the rest of the liberal media, that they report with a clear anti-Trump bias.  But, this has taken it to a whole new level; almost anti-American.  This virus originated in Wuhan, China.  That is now no longer moot, despite China’s shameful propaganda efforts to the contrary.  And yet, these liberal news outlets are bending over backwards to not just give China some benefit of the doubt…but to take their side and promote their anti-America propaganda.  These gutless news outlets and their reporters, need to be called out publicly, and shamed.  For more, click on the text above.

Opinion: Gutfeld on the media reaction to the coronavirus

So let’s review the media reaction to President Trump’s coronavirus presser. CNN’s ball of hysteria, Brian Stelter, tweeted: “Since the dawn of the Trump era, countless experts have warned that the president’s lack of credibility would imperil the country in the event of an emergency. As the coronavirus outbreak worsens, those fears may be coming true.” That one tweet defines the media’s dark desires for something bad to happen so that all of their previous hate for Trump is validated. “The fears may be coming true,” Brian wish-tweets, relying on the word all CNN’s false fantasies bank on: “may.” Every story that collapses hinges on “may.” Trump may resign. Trump may not leave office. Michael Avenatti may run for president! It’s a word that provides cover for the media’s delusional dreams. Today, that dream is a disease. This time people will surely die! But it will be Trump’s fault, and then finally I’ll be right and CNN President Jeff Zucker will give me a lollipop! It’s a diabolical deal, welcoming a grim hell just to say, “I told you so.” Meanwhile, Gail Collins wrote in The New York Times that we should call the disease “Trumpvirus.” I say, let’s rename “dementia” and call it “The New York Times.” Because only a truly mindless paper would still run Gail’s laughable drivel. It’s an example of how they’d rather politicize than actually help. Members of the press claim to champion credibility, but their own credibility is a joke. The Times and CNN can’t be trusted on any topic, because their deranged filter spits out the same answer on everything. “Orange man bad!” I would call it a “plague,” otherwise known as “Gail Collins Disease.”

As usual, Greg Gutfeld from “The Five” absolutely nails it.  Brian Stelter and Gail Collins are an embarrassment to journalism.  I suspect if an asteroid hit the earth, they’d somehow blame Trump for that too.  And, if Trump found the cure to cancer, they’d probably say he didn’t do it fast enough.  Trump Derangement Syndrome is on full display now with this coronavirus scare that’s negatively impacting the market, among other things.  Thanks to Greg for this outstanding piece!  Excellent!!     🙂

Opinion/Analysis: Fox News More than Triples CNN’s Collapsing Viewership

Even with the Democrat primary in high gear, the U.S.S. CNN’s ratings are still beyond pathetic. The far-left CNN, a hate network that spreads conspiracy theories and promotes violence against President Trump and his supporters, could not even average a million viewers during the same week New Hampshire came out to vote. Worse still, CNN’s chief nemesis, Fox News, annihilated the fake news network in the ratings by averaging more than three times — three times! — as many primetime viewers as CNNLOL. Here’s the primetime breakdown of average viewers during the week of February 10: Fox: 3.2 million MSNBC: 1.677 million CNNLOL: 969,000 As you can see, during the first presidential primary in four years (Iowa is a caucus), CNNLOL belly-flopped into ninth place, losing to HGTV, TLC, the History Channel, and only barely beating the Hallmark Channel. How is that even possible? Wait, it gets worse… Here’s the total day viewership average for that same week: Fox: 1.743 million MSNBC: 920,000 CNNLOL: 630,000 Seriously, how is it even possible for a cable channel that’s currently available in some 85 million homes to attract only 630,000 average viewers throughout the day — especially during the week of the New Hampshire primary? Here’s a better question… How is it possible that CNN chief Jeff Zucker, who has not only failed to dig CNN’s ratings out of the dirt, but who has forever destroyed the credibility of CNN as a respected brand, still has a job? Numbers this low do not just point to a failure to attract viewers, they point to a flat-out rejection of CNNLOL by the American people. CNN is a joke now, a national punch-line… Throughout the country, CNN is shorthand for “fake news.” This failure and the overwhelming dominance of Fox News has to be especially bitter for a network that has devoted countless programming hours and much of its public identity to attacking and destroying Fox News… CNNLOL is obsessed with Fox, is constantly smearing Fox as dishonest, hysterical, and even “dangerous.” But here’s Fox, not just kicking CNN’s pasty fatass, but rubbing CNN’s face in the dirt, kicking in CNN’s door, raiding CNN’s refrigerator, petting CNN’s dog, and seducing CNN’s older sister. Compared to this same week last year, Fox is up 27 percent in total primetime viewers and 18 percent in total day viewers. Compared to this same week last year, CNNLOL is down five percent in primetime viewers and nine percent in total day. The only good news for CNN is that it lost a lower percentage of viewers than MSNBC, which was down 14 percent in prime time and 15 percent in total day. Okay, but… MSNBC still nearly doubled CNNLOL in total primetime viewers. CNN lost viewers during the week of the New Hampshire primary. How glorious is that? CNN expends all this energy, money, time… CNN is constantly running at a thousand-miler-per-hour… and for what? No one’s listening. No one’s watching. No one cares. CNN has no impact on anything anymore. It’s just Hate Porn for a sad, smug, and increasingly small subculture of crybaby conspiracy theorists and bitter sore losers. You tired of winning yet? Yeah, me neither.

HAHAHA!!!  That was hilarious!!   Thanks to John Nolte for that cocky, yet spot-on analysis of CNN’s demise.  CNN threw all its eggs into one basket; attacking Trump, and his supporters.   That’s not journalism.  Its  agenda-driven advocacy.  CNN used to be a dry, boring news network…basically like CSPAN.  Now it has devolved into this extreme liberal hack network that competes with MSNBC for who can pander the most to the most extreme liberal fringes of the Democrat demographic.  Basically it’s just a competition between the two of how many times they can say that Trump sucks, is a racist, is xenophobic, hates immigrants, and on and on in a given day.  That is why more and more viewers of those two failing networks are getting fed up, and are turning to Fox News which at least has SOME semblance of balance, and multiple points of view are heard during their hard news segments; something that doesn’t exist at CNN or MSNBC.  For many folks, the whole Michael Avenatti fiasco was the last straw.

Ex-CNN darling Michael Avenatti convicted of trying to extort Nike

Brian Stelter and Joy Behar thought he could run for president in 2020. Now he’s going to jail. Former liberal media darling and frequent CNN guest Michael Avenatti won’t be offering anti-Trump talking points on cable news anytime soon after the disgraced lawyer on Friday was found guilty of trying to extort Nike. A New York jury found Avenatti, 48, guilty on three counts, including extortion, wire fraud and transmission of interstate communications with intent to extort. He faces up to 42 years in prison and did not testify in the case against him. Back in 2018, a Media Research Center study revealed that Avenatti, who represented a porn star in a lawsuit against President Trump, appeared on CNN a whopping 74 times over a 10-week period and the network’s in-house media critic famously declared the now-disgraced porn lawyer was a legitimate threat to challenge Trump in the 2020 presidential election. Stelter told Avenatti on air, “Looking ahead to 2020, one of the reasons why I’m taking you seriously as a [2020 presidential] contender is because of your presence on cable news.” At the height of Avenatti’s fame, he spent his rare time away from CNN’s greenroom partying with the network’s anchors while regularly appearing on late-night shows, MSNBC and “The View.” Juanita Scarlett, a former aide to Andrew Cuomo, the Democratic governor of New York and brother of CNN host Chris Cuomo, once tweeted — and then deleted – a photo of herself with Avenatti and another CNN host, Don Lemon, who apparently hosted a bash at his posh Hamptons home. It’s unclear how many other CNN personalities were at Lemon’s “Sag Harbor soiree,” but it was clear Avenatti had a cozy relationship with the liberal network prior to his drastic fall from grace. CNN was even accused of downplaying Avenatti’s Nov. 2018 arrest and Stelter once admitted critics “have a legit reason to dunk on me” when he chalked up omitting a negative story about Avenatti from his newsletter to a mix up. “After being called everything from a political and legal expert to the ‘man who could take down Trump’ and given hundreds of segments and hours of television time from both CNN and MSNBC, Michael Avenatti is headed to jail,”author and political satirist Tim Young told Fox News. “Not only has he proven himself to be a fraud, but he’s exposed the fact that these networks are willing to book literally anyone who confirms their Trump Derangement Syndrome.” Young said Stelter’s theory that Avenatti was a legitimate contender for president shows the CNN pundit has a “complete lack of understanding of the media and political sphere” for valuing a now-convicted felon over most politicians in America. “It’s an important reminder that people aren’t smarter than you or better judges of character just because they have a major media platform,” Young added. CNN did not immediately respond to a request for comment. MRC analysts Bill D’Agostino and Rich Noyes wrote in 2018 that there “no guest in CNN’s recent history who has been given as much free media exposure by the network as Avenatti” received. But CNN wasn’t the only liberal network to parade Avenatti in front of the camera. Over the same 10-week period, Avenatti appeared on MSNBC 57 times, according to the study. “On a single day [May 3 2018], MSNBC featured Avenatti a stunning seven times,” D’Agostino and Noyes wrote. “While CNN has been the friendliest network… MSNBC has been close behind.” He was also asked about a potential run at the White House on ABC News’ “The View” in August 2018. The disgraced lawyer was accused of trying to extort up to $25 million from Nike by threatening to go public with evidence that the company had paid off the families of young NBA-bound athletes. For about two weeks, prosecutors called several witnesses, including lawyers and Nike employees, and played recordings of Avenatti at his meeting with Nike attorneys. The defense’s case consisted of documents and stipulations insisting that Avenatti was only being an aggressive attorney and was working on behalf of his client. However, the client, Gary Franklin, the founder and coach of youth basketball team California Supreme, testified in court that Avenatti didn’t keep him in the loop of the negotiations with the athletic giant. Avenatti hasn’t been able to appear on CNN, or anywhere else, as he was in custody after violating bail conditions in a federal case against him in California and was housed at Manhattan’s Metropolitan Correctional Center during the trial. The once famed lawyer for adult-film star Stormy Daniels faces two other trials. In a second trial in Manhattan, he faces charges that he cheated Daniels out of the proceeds of a book deal. The most serious charges are in a federal case in Los Angeles, where he is accused of defrauding clients and others. Avenatti has denied all charges and insisted that they were part of an ongoing vendetta by the Trump administration after he represented Daniels in her litigation against the president. Donald Trump Jr. reacted to Avenatti’s conviction by sharing a Free Beacon montage of his frequent media appearances.

One word…karma.   The “creepy porn lawyer,” as Tucker Carlson referred to Michael Avenatti, is who he is.  Most of America could see right through him.  But, the dominantly liberal mainstream media, especially CNN and MSNBC (and The View) were so consumed with their extreme liberal bias and their pathological Trump Derangement Syndrome, that they latched onto him almost as a savior of sorts; someone who could take down Trump.  As such, Brian Stelter and Don Lemon over at CNN, and people like Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow over at MSNBC have been exposed for who and what they are.  They’re not just extremely liberal, agenda-driven, elitist tools who are consumed with Trump Derangement Syndrome.  We already knew that.  What America now knows, is that they’re complete idiots.  And, those who watch or listen to them, have been following total buffoons.  These liberal elitist media figures talk down to us normal folk.  They really think they’re smarter than the rest of us.  But, THEY are the ones who got conned by the “creepy porn lawyer,” and the rest of America wasn’t.  Gotta love this.

Gutfeld rips media after Avenatti verdict: Their ‘deranged filter’ depicted ‘bald bozo’ as anti-Trump savior

The mainstream media failed to see convicted attorney Michael Avenatti for who he really was, but latched onto him because he seemed able to damage President Trump, Greg Gutfeld said on “The Five” Friday. Earlier Friday, a federal jury in Manhattan convicted Avenatti of trying to extort athleticwear giant Nike, but not before he made hundreds of appearances on the likes of CNN and MSNBC, Gutfeld said after playing a montage of TV hosts praising the onetime attorney for adult film star Stormy Daniels. “‘The Five’ saw him for what he was, but the clowns from the [media] … they couldn’t because they have a deranged filter,” Gutfeld said. “All they saw when they looked at this clown was somebody that could hurt Trump, so they all lined up to kiss the bald bozo’s ring,” The montage featured CNN anchors Christopher Cuomo and Don Lemon, MSNBC hosts Chris Matthews and Lawrence O’Donnell, and CBS “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert. “This is a piece of evidence that shows you the corporate media cannot be trusted,” Gutfeld continued, adding that those same media figures portray themselves as more knowledgeable and sophisticated than the American people. “But they are credulous. They’ll take in anybody. They are a tribe looking for a savior and that’s what they saw in this guy.” At the height of Avenatti’s fame, images circulated on social media that showed him partying with CNN anchors. Juanita Scarlett, a former aide to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (brother of Chris Cuomo) once tweeted — and then deleted – a photo of herself with Avenatti and another CNN anchor, Don Lemon, who apparently hosted a bash at his posh Hamptons home. Avenatti, 48, was convicted of extortion, wire fraud and transmission of interstate communications with intent to extort. He faces up to 42 years in prison.

Greg is exactly right.  These morons at CNN and MSNBC, and other liberal media types like Joy Behar over at The View saw in Avenatti someone that could bring down Trump..

Opinion/Analysis: CNN mocks tens of millions of Trump voters

Liberals don’t really hate Donald Trump; they hate his supporters. President Trump just presents a more convenient target — most of the time. This weekend, never-Trump carnival barker Rick Wilson went on the least-watched of the big three cable news networks, CNN, to take another swing at the President’s supporters. Wilson has gotten rich and — among a certain set — famous from this game, so he’s not afraid to push the boundaries. He’s called Trump voters neo-Nazis and worse, and he once told a Trump-supporting CNN guest he would “gut” him “like a fish.” This time, though he went even lower. Mocking the “credulous boomer rube demo that backs” President Trump, Wilson switched into a parody of a southern accent and started acting like a buffoon. Then fellow guest Wajahat Ali got in on the action, riffing with Wilson as the two portrayed dumb hicks who support the President because they hate “the elitists” with their “math and readin’” and “sippin’ lattes.” Make no mistake, that is exactly what Rick Wilson and Wajahat Ali think huge swaths of the country are like. CNN host Don Lemon literally buckled over in laughter as his guests continued their spiteful routine. When he was called out for engaging in that mean-spirited mockery, Lemon tried to claim that he “didn’t catch everything that was said.” Lemon, who has launched into heartfelt on-air tirades over things as trivial the Trump Campaign tweeting an Avengers meme, eventually asked his guests to stop — not because he found it offensive, but because he needed a pause to laugh some more. Lemon not only agrees with this assessment of the President’s millions of supporters but thinks it’s positively hilarious to denigrate and stereotype people he has obviously never bothered to interact with or understand. What upsets people like Wilson, Ali, and Lemon so much about President Trump is that he represents, in their minds, “credulous boomer rubes” having political power — political power they believe rightfully belongs to people like them. Wilson spent 30 years in Republican politics trying to make sure the “rubes” who make up the base of his putative party wielded as little political influence as possible. Wilson’s political philosophy derives essentially from the belief that his degree from George Washington University and his ties to politicians like former President George H.W. Bush elevate him from the “credulous rubes” of Middle America into the cadre of people who deserve a say in how their country is run. Ali, unlike Wilson, has always been a man of the left — but contempt for the rubes in flyover country is every bit as central to his understanding of American politics. His career has been devoted in large part to promoting the idea that American conservatives became beholden to an “Islamophobia network” in the years after 9/11. Don Lemon, meanwhile, has been caricaturing Trump supporters on CNN for years, smearing them as racists at every opportunity — even at a presidential debate. His arrogance is matched only by his ignorance. The America first movement is an existential threat to people like Don Lemon, exposing their essential mediocrity and the precariousness of their “elite” status. We saw that Tuesday night in Wildwood, New Jersey. The tens of thousands of Trump supporters who descended on the Jersey Shore weren’t the gap-toothed yokels of liberals’ imaginations, but hard-working men and women from every segment of society. They were union workers and bankers; single mothers and families; students and tradesmen; young and old; black, white, Asian, and Hispanic; Democrats, Republicans, and independents. For the establishment elitists of both parties, President Donald J. Trump represents their worst fear: the American people voting for their own interests.

No kidding…  Thanks to Mike Huckabee for that brutal, yet well-deserved, smack-down of Don Lemon and the chuckleheads at CNN. Mike Huckabee was the 44th governor of Arkansas and a 2016 Republican candidate for president. He is currently host of “Huckabee” on TBN.    Excellent!!    🙂

Opinion: Don Lemon’s disgusting on-air mock of Trump

Don Lemon of CNN is more opinion than fact. But still: Busting out in a two-minute fit of laughter as show panelists go on a mocking routine of President Donald Trump is beneath even CNN. At least, you’d think. Make way for the new standard of low at the cable outlet. But here’s the hypocrisy: A Lemon by a different employer — say, Fox — would be on suspension right about now. In a skit with panelists Rick Wilson and Wajahat Ali, CNN’s Lemon broke into uncontrollable laughter as discussions ensued about Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and his rebuke of NPR’s Mary Louise Kelly over a Ukraine line of questioning. Wilson referred to Pompeo’s call for Kelly to locate Ukraine on a map, and then added this bit: “[Pompeo] also knows deep in his heart that Donald Trump couldn’t find Ukraine on a map if you had the letter U and a picture of an actual physical crane next to it.” Cue Lemon’s laughter. Which wouldn’t have been all that notable — except Lemon went on and on and on. And on. “Donald Trump is the smart one and y’all elitists are dumb,” Wilson said, with a drawl, calling out Pompeo for playing to the “boomer rube.” From Ali: “You elitists with your geography and your maps and your spelling.” The clip continued; Lemon’s laughter continued; the mocking of Trump and Trump supporters continued. And that’s the eyebrow-raiser. Poke fun of Trump. Poke fun of Trump’s team. But why poke fun in such arrogance and condescension and smugness of Trump supporters? It’s disrespectful. Disgusting. Disdainful of American citizens. And one other thing: If conservative Fox News opinion hosts had cut a similar clip during the Barack Obama administration, the left wouldn’t have just screamed. Leftists would’ve launched a call for boycotts of the Fox show advertisers. Obama supporters, Obama voters would’ve demanded the Fox host be fired. But because Lemon is a liberal and hates Trump, his job is safe, his position secure. The double standard of liberalism marches on.

Agreed…and well said, Cheryl.  Cheryl Chumley is the author of that spot-on, op/ed.  The double standard is just typical.  And, c’mon..  Don Lemon is such a nauseating tool.

CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin complains about ‘white men’ filling Trump’s legal team

CNN Chief Legal Analyst Jeffrey Toobin blasted President Trump’s legal team on Saturday, arguing that its composition — all white men — highlighted how Democrats cared more about diversity. “White House and white people,” Toobin said. “This is a lesson in the diversity of the two parties — I mean you look at the House managers. It was almost evenly divided between men and women. You had two African-Americans, you had a Hispanic.” “It was all white men today, there are allegedly two white women on the team — we’ll see if they’re allowed to argue,” he continued. “But I think, you know, in a visual medium, when you have one side that has a very diverse team and the other side that’s all white men, that says something in and of itself.” This wasn’t the first time CNN made racially-tinged comments. CNN anchor Anderson Cooper previously said it was “exciting” that white people will no longer represent the majority in the country. “The idea that, you know, whites will not be the majority, I mean, that’s — it’s an exciting transformation of the country, it’s an exciting evolution and you know, progress of our country in many different ways,” he had said in August. Toobin’s comments came as White House lawyers defended President Trump in the ongoing Senate impeachment trial. They argued that Democrats were trying to interfere in elections by seeking to remove Trump from the 2020 ballot for doing “absolutely nothing wrong.” White House Counsel Pat Cipollone said Democrats have no case and are doing damage to democracy by trying to undermine the will of American voters. “For all their talk about election interference, they’re here to perpetrate the most massive interference in an election in American history,” Cipollone said in his opening remarks to the Senate. “And we can’t allow that to happen.”

Agreed..   Jeffrey Toobin and Anderson Cooper are such self-loathing, liberal agenda pushing WHITE guys obsessed with race.  I mean..who the heck cares about the gender and ethnicity of someone’s lawyers??  I mean, really.  The left has this pathological obsession with race and identity politics.  You have to have so many people of this ethnicity, gender, and now sexual (or lack thereof) orientation in order to get the approval of the liberal elite.  It’s exhausting..  What happened to just hiring the best person for the job regardless?  Someone ought to ask Jeffrey or Anderson if they feel “guilty” for being white men….and if maybe a female or a black guy should have their jobs instead…and see what their reaction is.  What a bunch of nauseating tools..  No wonder CNN’s ratings are in the toilet and continue to plummet.  Nobody wants to hear this crap.

CNN settles Nick Sandmann defamation lawsuit in Covington Catholic High School controversy

CNN on Tuesday settled a defamation lawsuit filed by Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann over its botched coverage of a viral confrontation with a Native American elder that had portrayed the Kentucky teen as the aggressor. Fox 19 first reported that CNN settled with Sandmann for an undisclosed amount. The $250 million defamation suit sought damages for the “emotional distress Nicholas and his family suffered” in the fallout of the network’s reporting. A lawyer for Sandmann declined to comment on the settlement but confirmed to Fox News that lawsuits against The Washington Post and NBC were ongoing. Fox 19 also reported that Sandmann attorney L. Lin Wood told the judge they planned to sue media company Gannett within 60 days. Gannett did not immediately comment either. Last March, Sandmann’s attorneys launched their suit against CNN for its coverage of the incident before all the facts had surfaced. The teen was seeking a whopping $800 million in damages between the three news outlets. Sandmann was swept up in a controversy after a video clip depicted the “MAGA” hat-wearing student smiling at Nathan Phillips beating a drum and singing a chant as he was surrounded by Sandmann’s peers, who all had joined in on the chant in front of the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. However, several mainstream media outlets, including CNN, portrayed the incident with Sandmann and the other teens as being racially-charged before it was discovered by additional footage that a group of Black Hebrew Israelites had provoked the confrontation by slinging racial slurs at the students as they were waiting for their bus following last year’s March For Life event in Washington D.C. Footage then showed Phillips, who was in town for the Indigenous Peoples March, approaching the students amid the rising tension between the two groups.

HAHAHA!!  One word…Karma.  This is what happens when agenda-driven so-called news outlets get busted with their fake news and bs.  This kid just won the lotto.  So, kudos to Nick who was maligned and attacked by the dominantly liberal mainstream media, and then vindicated by camera footage showing this con-artist who portrayed himself as some gentle “native American” as the real aggressor trying to incite a confrontation.  And..c’mon..  Who actually watches CNN now?  It’s just garbage.  Glad to see them being held to account for their false reporting for once.    🙂
