Gutfeld on conflating protesters with rioters

As New York City burned, Gov. Andy Cuomo said this Tuesday on Twitter: “There are those who want to intentionally blur the lines between peaceful, legitimate protesters and looters. The president is among them. They want you to watch the videos of the looting – not the video of Mr. Floyd being murdered. Don’t fall for it.” So, a governor whose citizens and taxpayers are under attack, claims the biggest problem is witnessing the attack. The mayhem. The looting. Attacks on cops. Because that “blurs the lines between peaceful protests and looters.” I supposed he would prefer him joking around with his brother Chris on CNN again and again. So, who is blurring the lines between protesters and looters? It’s not me. It’s people like him. Because every time you mention the rioters, they accuse you of smearing protesters. We do understand the difference. Does he? Do you remember when you condemned actions of jihadists, and suddenly they accused you of Islamophobia? That when you criticized beheadings that was the same as calling all Muslims “extremists?” That idiotic response revealed who does the blurring. And it’s that blurring that hurts the protest movement. But by exposing the violent mob, you protect the future of legitimate protest. Not doing it, forever links it to destruction and death, while saying or implying that black grievance only matters if it’s expressed violently. That’s nuts. If that’s what you’re saying, Andy, you’re the one sowing discord. You’re the one who left us hanging – sacrificing citizens to the mob – just so we don’t blur any of your precious lines.

Gutfeld on the murder of Mr. Dorn

David Dorn spent his last moments on Earth bleeding to death on a sidewalk in front of a looted shop early Tuesday. He was a retired police captain in St. Louis and he was protecting a store. Dorn was 77. His death was shown on Facebook Live. He was a black man. A family man. A good man. Black lives matter. But not to looters, rioters and agitators. Shall we blame this on systemic racism? Who shot David Dorn? Who knows? A stranger? Maybe Seth Rogan or Patton Oswalt already bailed him out. Dorn’s son, Brian Powell said of his father’s death: “It was senseless – over TVs, over stuff that’s replaceable. They’re forgetting the real message for the protest and the positiveness that’s supposed to come out of it and we get this negative light that’s shown on a situation that really needed light to be brought to it.” Dorn’s daughter-in-law, Vanessa Powell, said: “I just hope that the person that did this that they come forth or whatever because this is just so senseless, and I’m just I’m tired of it, I’m tired.” The fact is, fealty to the mob begets only more of the mob. Redefining bloodlust as justified leads to death. And not just David Dorn’s, but a country’s too. A day ago was Blackout Tuesday, when virtue-signalers set their Instagrams to all black to support the protests going on around the country. What an analogy for the media. The media blacks the violence to hide their culpability. Which protects incompetent leaders, criminals and an army of cowardly journalists. Their job: keep the chaos on endless repeat. -Maybe David Dorn’s death can change things. Maybe we can protest loudly in his name and loudly demand action. It’s time, because there’s no Superman coming to save the day for us. There’s no one but us. On CNN, Chris Cuomo said: “Please, show me where it says protesters are supposed to be polite and peaceful. Because I can show you that outraged citizens are the ones who have America what she is and led to any major milestones. Be honest, this is not a tranquil time.” No thanks to Chris Cuomo. As cities are ravaged, he says protests don’t have to be peaceful. Chris, I invite you to meet me in my neighborhood to see what outrage created – the ravaged stores, the dead-eyed looks from people trying to salvage what’s left of their lives. If only they could work in media, and see the silver lining in their ruin. This is not a tranquil time. Thanks for the honesty, Chris.

Chris Cuomo’s ratings plummet as Americans tire of brothers’ schtick

Americans have spoken with their clickers — and they’re sick of Chris and Andrew Cuomo show. Chris Cuomo yuks it up with his governor bro during an almost daily “check-in” on his CNN show since the coronavirus started ravaging New York — and America wants it to stop. At first, the shtick was successful. Ratings hit an all-time high on March 30, with 862,000 daily viewers in the 25-54 age demographic. But since then, according to the Daily Mail, the ratings for Cuomo Prime Time have tanked, plummeting by 50 percent since Chris recovered from COVID. While all the cable news shows have seen ratings drop due to COVID exhaustion, Cuomo has particularly grated with his “frequently silly and un-substantive interviews” with his older brother — in which they have fought over who their mother loved more; Andrew’s “double barrel shotgun” nose, and Andrew’s “single status.” The segments have been panned as ratings stunts done for laughs while thousands of New Yorkers died of the coronavirus. The Cuomos were slammed again last week by Queens lawmaker Eric Ulrich, who is demanding the City Council investigate Gov. Cuomo’s handling of the COVID-19 crisis in nursing homes, where over 5,800 elderly have perished. “Thus far, the Governor has avoided answering tough questions about his decision. His recent appearance on CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time was equally disgraceful,” Ulrich fumed. “Journalism that truly aims to restore trust in media would hold Andrew Cuomo to account for these missteps,” David A. Graham wrote in the Atlantic this week. “The problem comes when the efforts to juice ratings start to get in the way of accurate journalism that holds officials accountable.” “The View” host Meghan McCain also blasted the bros on Twitter for the nursing home crisis, retweeting journalist Nicholas Fondacaro who posted a clip of the Cuomos and said: “Instead of asking his brother, @NYGovCuomo why he decided to pack COVID patients into nursing homes, killing untold amounts of people, @ChrisCuomo pulled out oversized, prop cotton swabs to mock how big his brother’s nose was. This is the state of ‘journalism’ on @CNN.” Viewers have also been upset with hair-trigger tempered Chris Cuomo’s hypocritical behavior during the pandemic. At the end of April, CNN aired a posed video of Cuomo “re-emerging” from his quarantine in the basement of his Hamptons mansion, despite Cuomo having been out and about in East Hampton a week earlier and getting into a fight with a “jackass loser fat-tire biker” who had asked why an infected unmasked Cuomo was breaking quarantine.

And, Chris has yet to apologize for that brazenly hypocritical stunt.  Chris is an idiot, and his older brother has proven to be a disaster in NY.  So, it’s no surprise that people are voting with their remote and changing the channel to..well..anything else.

Gutfeld on Trump’s drug use

After President Trump told the world he was taking a prescribed drug – hydroxychloroquine – to potentially protect him from COVID-19, the media flipped. Chris Cuomo said on CNN: “I don’t know that it will help with his health, but it certainly helps to cover up his weaknesses.” Don Lemon said on CNN: “This is really deadly serious. It is quite dangerous, really quite dangerous.” Joy Behar said on “The View”: “He says he’s been on this thing for two-and-a-half weeks or something. But when you read the side effects – psychosis, paranoia, hair loss – I think he’s been on it for three-and-a-half years. Apparently, all those dopes know better than the White House doctor, who prescribed the drug. They’re acting like Trump is ingesting peyote in a yurt But here’s the big story: Trump is taking a drug – and he shared the info with you. The media and politicians – they’d never do that. Ever. That’s why they were shocked. Trump shares. They hide. And how dare Trump ask his White House doctor about a tried and true medication that’s currently being used off-label by other docs? How dare he make an informed decision as a patient, after assessing the science, medical opinion and risk ratio? If you believe Trump’s wrong, show us your cost-benefit calculations or shut up. Of course, the media won’t. Because they’re smarter than you – and Trump is a symbol of you, a bumpkin who should stay home indefinitely. It’s only the morally superior media who get to work – and also know all that secret info about hot stocks, real estate and meds. They get the courtside tickets and the best tables. Then give you the lectures. The media always have the inside scoop – they’re mad Trump shared it with you. It’s funny: The media condemn using a prescribed drug during a pandemic. But they’re fine with way weirder stuff. You know: you’d think an industry where people inject poison into their faces would sit this one out. And they’d never let you, Joe Schmo, tell them they can’t smooth their wrinkles with a toxin. And they’d fight you to the death over their balding drugs, diet pills, Adderall and performance enhancers. They can have it all. Inject your forehead with goat pee if you must. America will save lives. While you save face.

Agreed!!  How ironic it is that the left, which is always telling us (with respect to the abortion issue), that it’s “our body, our decision,”  is having some issue with Trump taking this.  And, let’s not forget that it’s they who are the first ones (again, referring to the same abortion issue) who hold their hand up in defiance and tell us that it’s between “the patient and their doctor.”  Well…that’s EXACTLY what this was all about; a decision made between Trump and his White House doctor, who prescribed the    So, when did this suddenly become an issue with self-righteous, hypocritical tools like Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon over at CNN?  Because TRUMP took it.  And, whatever he does is must be wrong.  How on earth is an FDA APPROVED DRUG, that has been around for over 60 YEARS, and for which the VA prescribes over 42,000 dosages PER DAY alone, is somehow a political issue?  It’s not.  It’s just an issue to idiots like Chris, Don, Joy Behar and other liberal hacks who have Trump Derangement Syndrome.  That’s all this is.  Thanks to Greg Gutfeld.  That was adapted from his Gregologue” on “The Five” on May 19, 2020.  Excellent!!       🙂

CNN’s Ham, Cuomo Get in Heated Health Care Debate

Things got a little heated Thursday on CNN’s “New Day.” In a debate about health care, host Chris Cuomo insulted network contributor Mary Katharine Ham by calling her “cheap.” “[Y]ou can be nasty about it or you can listen to me,” Ham responded. “I am a person, single mom of two, who has lost three or four plans since Obamacare passed,” she added. “I was told I would not. That was a lie. When I said that I would lose my plan, people called me a liar when this was going on. I have had a 160 percent increase in my premiums. I was told those would go down, and I’ve had a 300 percent increase in my deductible. One of the ways you can fix that is by cutting some of these ‘essential health benefits’ because they are indeed not essential.”

Way to go Mary Katherine!!  Chris is such an ass..  And, by the way..  Where are all the outraged liberal females??  It’s ok to call a single mom (widow) who is trying to make ends meet “cheap,” if that woman happens to be conservative.  Just fathom if a conservative white guy called a liberal female “cheap.”  The liberal media would go flippin nuts, and the Dem women in the House would do a walkout or something.  We’ve all seen it.  As usual, the hypocrisy is breathtaking.  To see a video of this exchange, click on the text above.

CNN Anchor: ‘Our Rights Do Not Come From God’

During a heated discussion over gay marriage, CNN morning Anchor Chris Cuomo opined that the unalienable rights endowed to all Americans do not come from God. Cuomo was debating Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore on the constitutionality of same-sex marriage. Near the end of the back-and-forth and after Moore argued that rights cannot be handed down by men, Cuomo blurted out: “Our rights do not come from God, your honor, and you know that. They come from man… That’s your faith, that’s my faith, but that’s not our country. Our laws come from collective agreement and compromise.” Maybe Mr. Cuomo flunked elementary civics. The opening sentence of the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence clearly affirms: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed…”

What a moron! Chris Cuomo is your typical cookie-cutter, liberal, Democrat journalist in the dominantly liberal mainstream media. He is a poster child for how breathtakingly foolish and uneducated those in the mainstream media really are. Journalists like Chris are willing to spew this sorta thing because it fits their dogmatic liberal ideology, in spite of the fact that it is simply, factually, not true! Chris’ brother is the current (Dem) governor of New York. Yeah.. He clearly never had any elementary-level, basic American civics in his education. And people wonder why CNN is losing viewers and it’s ratings are falling..
