CNN analyst Chris Cillizza deletes tweet showing Trump in crosshairs

Chris Cillizza, a political analyst for CNN, deleted a tweet he sent out Tuesday that included an image appearing to show President Trump in crosshairs. In a separate tweet, Cillizza said the graphic was unintended and the result of a computer program he and his team used. “I’ve deleted a GIF about President Trump,” he wrote. “We use @GifGrabber to make our GIFs and it defaults to the image below as a first frame. To clear up any unintended confusion, I’ve removed the tweet.” A GIF is a type of digital graphic that sometimes show motion in the image. Cillizza sent the initial tweet Tuesday morning using a photo of Trump, who spoke that day at the National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service in Washington. “Donald Trump, pointing to heavens to commemorate police officers killed in the line of duty,” Cillizza wrote in the since-deleted post. Mike Cernovich, an online provocateur and Trump supporter, saved an image of Cillizza’s tweet and called it “an assassination threat on our President!” Images of crosshairs have drawn controversy in politics in the past.

It’s hard to explain this Tweet pic away as anything other than a pic of Trump in a rifle crosshair lens.  Chris just got busted, and is doing his level best to tip toe his way out of it.  And CNN wonder’s why it’s ratings are in the toilet.  People are sick of this crap.  Just fathom if a journalist had done this to Obama…  The story would be EVERYWHERE, and there would be people saying it was a “hate crime” and so on…and we ALL know it.  Typical liberal media hypocrisy.  Anyway, to see the pic in question, click on the text above and you be the judge.

CNN star Chris Cillizza’s Q & A session becomes epic disaster as critics savage his ethics, biases

Reddit commenters bashed CNN Politics editor Chris Cillizza during an “Ask Me Anything” forum on Tuesday, criticizing the reporter for his biased views and questioning his journalism ethics. Cillizza hosted the one-hour online Reddit forum in the afternoon, welcoming users to ask him questions to answer. Most commenters immediately slammed the editor for the lack of balanced reporting in his articles and treating “politics like sport.” “Chris, have you considered the fact that your reporting style of repeated and absurd focus on completely inane subjects, like ‘an analysis of the Trump-Macron handshake’ not only makes us all collectively stupider, but fundamentally devalues the role politics has in shaping our lives in favor of absurd horse race coverage that focuses on inside baseball to the exclusion of real working families?” one commenter said.

EXACTLY!!!  And yet CNN still doesn’t get why their ratings continue to tank..  To read the rest of this article, click on the text above.
