Federal Debt Tops $19,900,000,000,000—On Black Friday

The federal debt moved above 19,900,000,000,000 for the first time as of the close of business, Nov. 22, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, according to data released by the Treasury. On that day, it rose from $19,899,004,081,493.50 to $19,907,540,739,514.52. However, on Nov. 23, the day before Thanksgiving, the debt dropped back to $19,897,994,347,700,50, according to the Treasury. No Treasury business was conducted on Thanksgiving. But by the close of business on Nov. 25—“Black Friday”–the debt had climbed back above $19,900,000,000,000, hitting 19,928,118,193,162.55. On Monday, according to the Treasury, the federal debt continued to climb, closing the day on Nov. 28 at $19,929,184,161,352.13. Thus, Thanksgiving week of 2016 marked the first time since the United States declared independence on July 4, 1776 that the debt of the federal government exceeded $19,900,000,000,000.

How’s that for Obama’s pathetic economic legacy!  And, there are actually still people in the media, and elsewhere that don’t understand how Trump was elected.  Unreal..

UN Security Council set to tighten screws on North Korea – with China’s help

The world is looking to clamp down on North Korea and, this time, China appears to be on board. The United Nations Security Council is set to vote Wednesday on sanctions aimed at punishing the Hermit Kingdom for its nuclear and ballistic missile tests. China, one of the council’s five permanent members – all of whom have veto power – has typically protected its trading partner. But the powerful nation has signaled it agrees with the proposed measures, which target North Korea’s coal and metal exports and is intended to inflict economic pain on the regime. “We are getting very close to moving forward on Security Council measures responding to North Korea’s September 9th nuclear test, the latest of five tests,” a U.S. official familiar with the resolution said…

Kaepernick booed in Miami for Castro comments

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was jeered during his team’s game against the Miami Dolphins Sunday after making comments that praised late Cuban dictator Fidel Castro during the week. There were loud boos from the crowd when Kaepernick and the rest of the 49ers offense trotted onto the field for their first series, and more jeers just before the first down snap. Kaepernick, who has kneeled during the National Anthem all season to protest police brutality and the treatment of minorities, defended Castro during a conference call Wednesday with South Florida reporters. Castro, who died Friday, has strong critics within South Florida’s large Cuban-American population. During the conference call, Miami Herald reporter Armando Salguero, who was born in Cuba, challenged Kaepernick about a T-shirt the quarterback wore in August featuring Castro and Malcolm X. In a column published hours before Castro’s death was announced, Salguero said Kaepernick noted Cuba’s high literacy rate and claimed that “they invest more in their education system than they do in their prison system, which we do not do here [in the U.S.] even though we’re fully capable of doing that.” When Salguero tried to ask Kaepernick about the disintegration of Cuban families under the Castro regime, the quarterback said “We do break up families here … That’s what mass incarceration is. That was the foundation of slavery. So our country has been based on that as well as the genocide of native Americans.” Salguero concluded his column by calling Kaepernick a “fraud” and an “unrepentant hypocrite.” Kaepernick defended his statements after the game, which the Dolphins won, 31-24, after he was stopped two yards short of the potential game-tying touchdown. “What I said was, I agree with the investment in education,” he said, according to WSVN. “I also agree with the investment in universal health care, as well as the involvement in helping end apartheid in South Africa.” One of the Dolphins defenders in on the game-saving tackle of Kaepernick was linebacker Kiko Alonso, whose father was born in Cuba and fled the Castro regime.

Wow…  So, not only is Colin a self-righteous, entitlement-minded, offensive, extreme liberal (socialist), tool..  BUT, he’s also a moron.  I mean, honestly..  He really has no clue how breathtakingly stupid he really is.  And, kudos to Armando for calling him on his hypocrisy!  Excellent!!

Jill Stein demands recount in key states as Donald Trump officially wins Michigan

Michigan elections officials certified Monday that Donald Trump did win the state on Nov. 8, giving him a projected 306-232 win in the Electoral College — but his opponents are still trying to wrench the victory away from him, raising millions of dollars to force recounts in enough states to swipe the race. Wisconsin began its recount Monday, prodded by Green Party candidate Jill Stein, though the state’s election commission insisted they got it right and Mr. Trump will remain the winner. Ms. Stein also said she’ll demand a recount in Michigan, and filed a lawsuit begging a judge to order an audit in Pennsylvania. “After a presidential election tarnished by the use of outdated and unreliable machines and accusations of irregularities and hacks, people of all political persuasions are asking if our election results are reliable,” Ms. Stein said in a statement. “We must recount the votes so we can build trust in our election system.” She hasn’t pointed to specific evidence of fraud in the three states, instead basing her demands on pre-election fears of hacking and a disparity between opinion polls and the final results. Trump supporters were peeved, saying the recounts are an unseemly attempt to damage Mr. Trump as he prepares to claim the White House. If Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan results were all overturned, Mrs. Clinton would win the White House — though officials in each state doubted that was going to happen. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker said Mr. Trump’s 22,000-vote victory in his state — about 1 percent of the votes cast — was enough to withstand any recount. “WI’s electoral process is fair & protected,” the governor said in a Twitter post. “Are #Recount2016 supporters really that surprised how rural Wisconsin voted?” And Mark Thomsen, chairman of Wisconsin’s elections commission and a Democrat, batted away accusations of fraud or hacking, and said the recount there will confirm Mr. Trump won. “I don’t expect that the outcome will be quantitatively different,” he said as he and his fellow board members announced recount procedures. They said localities can decide how to conduct their recounts — a victory for Mr. Trump, since it means a full hand recount isn’t required. In Michigan the results had been contested since election night, when Mr. Trump held a slim lead. The state’s canvassing board on Monday said he did, in fact, win by 10,704 votes out of 4.8 million cast in the presidential race. Now Ms. Stein and other Trump opponents have two days to file for a recount. In Pennsylvania Ms. Stein filed a lawsuit Monday on behalf of voters who disbelieve Mr. Trump won their state. The lawsuit’s evidence is circumstantial: Some computer scientists fear that hacking is possible, combined with the disparity between pre-election polling and the actual Election Day results. Their lawsuit demands a full recount, saying that’s the first step to figuring out if hacking occurred. Ms. Stein was also looking into whether she could demand recounts at the county level. “The nature of hacking is that you don’t see it if you don’t look,” she said on MSNBC. Pennsylvania Republicans mocked her lawsuit, calling it “a sad commentary on the failure of some to accept the results of the will of the people.”

Agreed!  This, of course, will go nowhere..  But, it’s making for interesting tv for some, I suppose..

Universities Fast-track Foreign Students into 147,000 White-Collar U.S. Jobs

U.S. universities are rapidly increasing the number of fee-paying foreign students who are being fast-tracked into the professional jobs sought by American graduates. In 2009, the universities helped 67,804 foreign graduates get white-collar jobs under the little-known Optional Practical Training program, which allows foreigners to get professional-grade jobs inside the United States for at least three years. By 2016, the universities worked with companies to get at least 147,498 foreign student customers into the white-collar jobs, according to the Institute of International Education, a New York-based group run by trustees from industry, education and Wall Street. The OPT outsourcing program is great for the foreign students because it gets them a U.S. job for three years, and puts them on a track to win extremely valuable Green Cards and citizenship. It is great for employers because many OPT employees work for low salaries in the hope of eventually getting Green Cards — and also because the OPT employees are exempt from Social Security and Medicare taxes, unlike American employees. The OPT system is also great for universities and colleges because it brings in more student customers from overseas, whose tuition fees greatly exceed the paperwork costs paid by universities to run the OPT program. That’s a big financial benefit for universities. But the OPT guest-worker program is bad for the many ordinary American graduates who are being shut out of more than 100,000 jobs — and who also face increased lifetime competition from imported, lower-wage foreign professionals. Joseph Palos, a high-tech graduate from Cornell University, formally objected to the OPT program in 2015. ”Companies don’t want to hire Americans and they abuse… OPT to hire cheap immobile labor instead of hiring anyone over the age of 35, especially in software or tech areas,” he wrote to a federal agency, according to a report in ComputerWorld. That’s a challenge for President-elect Donald Trump, who campaigned against work visas — such as the H-1B visa — that disadvantage Americans. “I will end forever the use of the H-1B as a cheap labor program, and institute an absolute requirement to hire American workers first for every visa and immigration program,” he said in a March 2016 statement. “No exceptions,” he added. The scale of the OPT outsourcing program is unclear — but it is certainly huge. For comparison, the 147,498 foreigners now employed in the OPT program add up to three times the 51,000 Americans who graduated with information technology jobs in 2015, according to federal data. The number of resident foreign OPT professionals is also five times the 29,000 Americans who graduated with science degrees in 2015, and 40 percent more than the 108,000 Americans who graduates with engineering degrees. The OPT number is expected to sharply rise in 2017 and later because President Barack Obama expanded the program to allow foreign students to work up to 24 months instead of 12 months. Also, foreign graduates from so-called “STEM” degrees — science, technology, engineering and mathematics — can work for an additional 12 months, or a total of three years.

How crazy is that?!?!  Hopefully Trump will put a screeching halt to this nonsense when he takes office!  To read the rest of this shocking article, click on the text above.

Trump could reverse Obama’s actions on college sexual assault

Advocates of college men who claim their lives were destroyed by false rape claims are hoping the incoming Trump administration will change a policy they say tramples on civil rights. Beginning in 2011, the Obama administration’s U.S. Education Department began pressing colleges to more aggressively police sexual assaults. The department currently has some 216 schools under investigation, while other schools have expelled accused students on scant evidence, often with no legal recourse or due process. “What we represent is not a popular issue, we know that,” Cynthina Garrett, co-president of Families Advocating for Campus Equality, which supports due-process rights for accused students, told “But there are so many young men whose lives have been destroyed by these allegations.” Garrett added that she thinks the Education Department’s Office of Civil Rights has gone too far and that schools are now operating out of fear rather than cooperation with the government – leading those accused of sexual assault to be found guilty even before they are judged. What President-elect Trump plans to do, however, is unclear as he rarely mentioned education while on the stump and even less frequently talked about civil rights in schools. Trump’s biggest qualm with the Department of Education – as with many other federal agencies – was to say that it “is massive and it can be largely eliminated.” Trump’s pick for education secretary, billionaire philanthropist Betsy DeVos, has also not broached the issue of sexual assault on college campuses or commented on the Obama administration’s interpretation of Title IX. Title IX is a law enacted in 1972 that prohibits any educational program or activity that receives federal financial assistance from denying benefits to or discriminating against someone based on their sex. The OCR sent a letter to schools in April 2011 that made sexual assault a form harassment prohibited by Title IX. “Trump and DeVos’ biggest priority seems to be school and not Title IX,” Garret said.

Very interesting..  Clearly Obama’s Dept of Ed HAS abused Title IX..and clearly many male students have been unfairly  persecuted under Title IX.  Hopefully Sec. DeVos will bring sanity to the bloated Dept of Education.

Black Lives Matter Praises, Mourns Death of Cuba’s Murderous Fidel Castro

Upon the passing of one of the world’s most murderous dictators, some in the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement praised Fidel Castro and proclaimed an “overwhelming sense of loss” upon his death. In a message posted on the BLM page on, an unsigned editorial lamented having to “awaken to a world without Fidel Castro” and wails about coming to Castro’s “defense” against “the rhetoric of the right.” Worse, the BLM message insists that we can “learn” about “freedom and the peace” from Fidel’s brutal regime. Praising Fidel’s “revolution” that kept his nation’s economy in poverty for decades, the BLM message goes on to claim that humans deserve a series of rights: ” Revolution is rooted in the recognition that there are certain fundamentals to which every being has a right, just by virtue of one’s birth: healthy food, clean water, decent housing, safe communities, quality healthcare, mental health services, free and quality education, community spaces, art, democratic engagement, regular vacations, sports, and places for spiritual expression are not questions of resources, but questions of political will and they are requirements of any humane society.” Many of these “rights,” though, are things that Castro denied his own people for nearly fifty years. BLM goes on to praise Castro for shielding cop killers Assata Shakur and Charles Hill from American justice and thanked him for giving sanctuary to a list of anti-American activists and criminals throughout the decades, preventing them from facing criminal charges in the U.S.

BLM is such a nauseating, anti-America, anti-capitalism, pro-communism bunch of black racist thugs and domestic terrorists..  Unreal..

99% Muslim, 43,000 Somali refugees settled in US under Obama

The Obama administration resettled 8,858 Somali refugees in the United States last year, and nearly 43,000 during Obama’s eight years, a huge number that is now raising concerns after a Somali refugee led a one-man attack spree on the campus of Ohio State. Like Syrian refugees, there is no adequate way to check the backgrounds of the Somalis, according to the head of the Center for Immigration Studies. To see the Somali refugee numbers into the U.S. from the Department of Homeland Security and State, just click here:

Legal: Did Hillary Clinton just squander her “get out of jail free” card?

Hillary Clinton has never played the board game, “Monopoly”. How do we know? Because even novice players learn quickly that you always hang on to a “get out of jail free” card. No matter what. You never know when you’re going to need it. And you usually do. Clinton had such a card… and has managed to recklessly squander it. So what happens now? Will she draw that other dreaded card: “Go to jail. Go directly to jail. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $ 200” ? For Clinton, who could face serious criminal jeopardy, this is no game. The night Clinton lost the presidency, she telephoned Donald Trump to concede. We now know that it was President Obama who persuaded Clinton to make the gracious concession. According to a soon-to-be published book by two Washington journalists, Obama told his former Secretary of State, “You need to concede.” At that point, it was clear the Democratic nominee was losing Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania and had no hope of winning the White House. Clinton heeded the advice and made the call. Wise move. The president-elect was clearly moved by what he described as a “lovely” conversation with Clinton. “It was a tough call for her. She couldn’t have been nicer. She’s very strong and very smart”, Trump told CBS News’ “60 Minutes”. The newly-elected president suddenly seemed reluctant to have his Department of Justice pursue Clinton for criminal wrongdoing. After spending months promising his supporters that he would see to it that Clinton is prosecuted over her email server and, perhaps, the Clinton Foundation, Trump reversed himself. In a meeting with the New York Times last week, he all but ruled out recommending a special prosecutor or criminal charges. “It’s just not something that I feel strongly about. I don’t want to hurt the Clintons, I really don’t. She went through a lot and suffered greatly in many different ways.” Clinton’s election night concession seemed to have prompted Trump to hand her a “get out of jail free” card. If she was moving on, then he was moving on. And so would the nation. But in politics, what is given… can be taken away. Especially when the recipient of a generous gift exhibits a conspicuous lack of gratitude. Which is precisely what Clinton has now done. Clinton’s campaign announced over the weekend that it will join efforts to push for recounts in the key states of Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania in a futile effort to deprive Trump of the needed 270 electoral votes and, thus, the presidency. It is the definition of a fool’s errand. A game of chance with not a scintilla of chance to succeed. Recounts almost never swing enough votes to change the outcome. Clinton would have to do it in not one, but all three states. In Pennsylvania alone, the law on a voter-initiated recount is next to impossible to meet. It demands notarized voter affidavits in each and every 9,163 election districts. The deadlines are imminent and, in some districts, have already passed. Forget the fact that Trump’s lead in the state exceeds 70,000 votes. Clinton’s decision to embrace a challenge to Trump’s election is both confounding and inexplicable. Why would she chance angering the very individual who holds her fate in his hands? It’s like an inmate taunting a jailer. You’d have to be obtuse to do it. Already, Trump has responded with a series of furious tweets reminding Clinton that she already conceded. One of his top advisers hinted that retaliation works both ways. Trump might easily reconsider his decision to forego a case against his former adversary. So why would Clinton deliberately antagonize someone who is notoriously mercurial? With a wave of his hand, Trump could signal his new attorney general to reignite a Justice Department criminal investigation of Clinton or, in the alternative, appoint a Special Prosecutor to consider charges. After all, FBI Director James Comey laid out a meticulous case of how Clinton violated the Espionage Act, but then dismissed it by claiming that “no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case”. Sorry, Mr. Comey, but there are plenty of reasonable prosecutors who would be eager to do so. As the great American philosopher, Forrest Gump, pointed out, an intelligent person who does stupid things is still stupid. Common sense, or lack thereof, is evidenced by a person’s actions. While Clinton may be a smart person, it makes no sense whatsoever for her to risk criminal indictment by alienating the one person who can best insulate her from the legal consequences of her own extremely careless, if not intentional, conduct. And for what? A recount that is destined to fail? By contesting the presidential election, Clinton does damage only to herself. When, during the election, Trump suggested he might not accept the result if he lost, Clinton called it “horrifying.” Did it ever occur to her that she is now committing the same “horrifying” act she so vehemently condemned? Donald Trump made billions of dollars accumulating properties in a way the inventors of “Monopoly” envisioned. He knows how the real game is played. Hillary Clinton does not. She held a treasured “get out of jail free” card… but wasted it for nothing.

Agreed!!  That outstanding legal op/ed was written by GRegg Jarrett, a Fox News anchor and former defense attorney.  Excellent!!    🙂

Complaints grow over white liberals turning Dakota Access protest into hippie festival

Tension is brewing within the Dakota Access protest as complaints grow about outside activists trashing the camps, mooching off donations, and treating the anti-pipeline demonstration like a Burning Man-style festival for hippies. “Need to get something off my chest that I witnessed and found very disturbing in my brief time there that I believe many others have started to speak up about as well. White people colonizing the camps,” said Alicia Smith on Facebook. “They are coming in, taking food, clothing etc and occupying space without any desire to participate in camp maintenance and without respect of tribal protocols,” she said. “These people are treating it like it is Burning Man or The Rainbow Gathering and I even witnessed several wandering in and out of camps comparing it to those festivals.” Her Nov. 14 post, now making the rounds on social media, said outsiders are “literally subsisting entirely off the generosity of native people (AND YOUR DONATIONS if you have been donating) who are fighting to protect their water just because they can.” A local deputy who asked to remain anonymous told WDAY-AM’s Rob Port that most of the protesters are white, and that some have used racial slurs against black, Hispanic and Native American officers. Standing Rock Sioux chairman David Archambault II, who is leading the protest, raised concerns about sanitation in a Nov. 23 interview with Vice, saying activists are “digging pits out there for their human waste.”
