MSNBC’s Harris-Perry Laments ‘Totally Black Guy’ Darth Vader as ‘Star Wars’ Villain

On Sunday’s “Melissa Harris-Perry” on MSNBC, host Melissa Harris-Perry and a panel discussed race and gender in the “Star Wars” movies in light of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” premiering this week. Harris-Perry ranted regarding “totally black guy” “Star Wars” villain Darth Vader, who is evil when voiced by James Earl Jones and in a black suit cutting off “white men’s hands.” However, she said he turned out to be a white guy when his helmet was removed and when he claims his son went over to the light side of the Force. “Yeah, like, the part where [Darth Vader] was totally a black guy whose name basically was James Earl Jones, who, and we were all, but while he was black, he was terrible and bad and awful and used to cut off white men’s hands, and didn’t, you know, actually claim his son. But as soon as he claims his son and goes over to the good, he takes off his mask and he is white. Yes, I have many, many feelings about that, but I will try to put them over here.”

Wow..  You really can’t make this stuff up, folks.  Melissa Harris-Perry is the poster child for your typical extreme liberal, black racist journalist in the dominantly liberal mainstream media.  It’s bad enough she has it all wrong about Star Wars..  After all, “Darth Vadar” was NEVER a black guy.  Only his character’s VOICE was dubbed in by James Earl Jones, who happens to be black.  But, the character of Darth Vadar was NEVER black as virtually everyone, except maybe Melissa, knows.  But, to use this to somehow claim that there is racism in Star Wars is beyond ridiculous.  And yet, that’s the kind crap we’ve come to expect from the likes of Melissa.  What a tool..
