Fox News has released a statement Tuesday responding to the news that Lindsay and Dina Lohan are filing a defamation suit against the cable news network for remarks made on “Hannity” a year ago: We will defend this case to the fullest. The remark about which Lindsay and Dina Lohan complain was made on live television by a guest nearly a year ago. We removed the segment from our archives altogether last February and also apologized on-air. At that time, the Lohans did not make any demands for money, and we are surprised they are doing so now.
This speaks volumes (none of it good) about Lindsay and her ambulance-chasing mom. What a ridiculous law suit. Hopefully the judge will blink twice, shake his/her head, and throw it out. No news organization can control what a GUEST says live on air. If the Lohans have such an issue with what Michelle Fields said about their possible drug use over a year ago (and that’s what this is all about), then they should go after Michelle; NOT Fox News. But, being the ambulance-chasers they are, they know Fox News has deeper pockets. Shame on them..
